The Juggalo March Could Be A Horrible Mistake-But I Support It And It Has To Happen.

Ok fam, I am going to get serious and comment about the Juggalo March. I really want you to read this. Regardless of your support for it or not, it will make an impact regardless. I have some issues with it though and it is something that can’t be helped, it is what it is. I am going to outline my points in a numbered format, so people can browse through the points and see what they think.
1. People don’t know what a Juggalo is:
Besides us being a family. Outside people do not have a clue what a Juggalo is. There are some people who have heard of Juggalos and know about the word Juggalo, but a huge majority of our world do not know what a Juggalo is. A lot of people I talk to about being a Juggalo, ask me at the end of my long explanation,”Wait, so you know being a Gigolo is illegal right? You can’t trade sex for money.” I have gotten the mix up of Juggalo with Gigolo countless times with people who simply don’t know what Insane Clown Posse is. We are still pretty underground no matter the history of ICP. So, when this march happens there will be a lot of confusion and fear from people.
2. People hate clowns:
The wicked shit is what we live by, but people are scared of clowns. The recent clown sightings in years has not helped us at all and has only made people paranoid, so when people see a bunch of clowns marching in D.C., there will be a fucking panic.
3. That brings me to the face paint:
Our face paint is like our calling. We all pride ourselves in taking that foundation and smearing it across our faces. We stand strong and represen the hatchet with pride. Well, people associate disguises with terrorism and anarchy and our face paint will not be taking lightly. If a conservative turns the news on and sees a crowd of face painted people on the capital, it will be taken wrongly.
4. Juggalos are unpredictable:
I have met fellow Juggalos who are reserved and calm, and then I have met Juggalos who are a fucking time bomb waiting to go off. Now, add those people in the mix of the March, which there will be a ton of out of control Juggalos and you have a recipe for a disaster. Cops will not be lenient nor will they be chill with hyped up Juggalos. I’ve seen first hand Juggalos be arrested for saying,”Whoop Whoop!” to a cop.
5. People will think we are marching against Trump:
People don’t know about us being on the gang list and don’t really care. This is our March against the FBI and telling them we are not a gang. Well, when people see a bunch of people who they have never seen before marching on the National Capital, people will think we are protesting the presidency of Trump. That’s not what we are there for. Plus, I have a strong feeling Trump will comment on the March and tweet something to rile people up, so it is not good at all.
6. This isn’t the Gathering:
This is a really important point. Yes, there will be homies there you don’t see unless they are at the gathering, but this one has to be taken seriously. We will not be protected in a far off park in our own paradise. We will be centered in a place where stuff that happens at the Gathering could land people in prison for who knows how long. Juggalos can’t act like they do at the Gathering because there will be mayhem and it will cause a riot and out of control behavior.
7. Which leads me to this: There will be riots and arrests:
It is a given that Juggalos are going to be maced and that riot police will be taking out Juggalos. There will be tons of arrests and honestly, the march is probably not going to last that long because the feds will come in and shut the whole thing down by detaining everyone. Feds don’t mess around when it comes to anything abnormal or weird and Juggalos are the perfect target for a take down. If you think it will be a peaceful and relaxing March and then we all get to go to a free concert, you are mistaken. Getting to the concert will be like Frodo going to Mordor. If people make it to the free concert after doing the March then that will be impressive.
8. This could possibly make Juggalos more of a threat and this March could cause more damage to our name:
This March could backfire and actually cause Juggalos to be cracked down upon worse than before. It could be where this sets out a law that will be passed where affiliating with Psychopathic Records will automatically be a misdemeanor or a felony. People say they can’t do that because of the First Amendment. Well I will tell you that crazier things have happened and you just don’t know the power our government has until you push them far enough.
9. The media will be there so it will be ok:
Ok, this is just plain stupid. The media is not in support of Juggalos. They are there to catch a story and the story will be Juggalos being beaten and brutalized and honestly no one will care. Juggalos are already hated by those who know about them, so people will probably cheer them on as they take out a “problem” which is us. The media will just get a better news story and be happy they captured the mayhem on camera. Big payday for those reporters.
10. I talked to Psychopathic and they said they are bringing their own security:
Yeah, ok…….I am not dissing them, but let’s see here….Pyschopathic security vs. Police, Riot control, FBI, and etc. Yeah……..D.C. is going to be more prepared for us coming than we are.
11. Which leads me to us being greeted by Washington’s finest:
Ok, so since this March has been publicized greatly and for sure D.C. knows about it, all Juggalos will be greeted by a wall of police on the day of the actual March. If you think a sea of Juggalos would just show up to an empty capital then you are sooooooo wrong. As soon as we get there, there will be a whole squad waiting for us and greeting us coldly.

and you think juggalos are just gonna show up and wile out.  because we are just that fuckin dumb.

if you cant conduct yourself in public, stay the fuck outta public.

how the hell do these maniac juggalos get through their day-to-day lives without gettin picked off every four minutes…?

‘its a given that everybody is gonna riot and get maced and arrested!’

what crap.

apparently, you think you live in a tv show.

i couldnt even finish reading that, theres no point.

I can’t figure out what this post has more of… assumptions or fears. Might be a dead heat. Grow a pair.

1. People don’t know what a Juggalo is:

More than you think do. Either way, it would be your job to inform them. They’ll probably not care or think it’s stupid.

2. People hate clowns:

This is fucking stupid. They don’t panic at concerts. They don’t panic when the fucking KKK marches.

3. That brings me to the face paint:

You really think clown paint is the most radical thing people have seen marching down that street? You’re completely doing the exact opposite of giving the middle finger in J’s self indulgent middle finger freedom of speech parade by bowing down to social norms with the act of not painting your face like a juggalo.

4. Juggalos are unpredictable:

They are pretty predictable. I don’t think juggalos are going to act like lunatics. If juggalos are this bad then perhaps they should be on some kind of list. Ever think of that? If juggalos are so bad that other juggalos fear their unpredictability that should be a red flag to a lot of people. But this is a farce. The only time juggalos really act all crazy is at the gathering. This is not the gathering. And I call bullshit on your “whoop whoop” story.

5. People will think we are marching against Trump:

First, that’s not a bad thing. People would be much more likely to rally behind juggalos if they think it’ll help on the war on Trump. Second, no they won’t. Not if you make the intent clear.

6. This isn’t the Gathering:

No shit? Is this even a seprate point from number 4? You could lump this point with the un predictable point and you could lump the face paint point with the clown point. It’s like you actively worked to fluff your story up and pretend you have more points. Either way, I’m sure every juggalo going knows this and will treat it as such.

7. Which leads me to this: There will be riots and arrests:

So you are just fluffing it up. No. Juggalos will not act silly and riot. And cops are not going to harass juggalos. How do I know? Because cops hardly harass juggalos at the gathering where they do act crazy.

8. This could possibly make Juggalos more of a threat and this March could cause more damage to our name:

This could also be lumped with unpredictable, riots and this isn’t the gathering.

9. The media will be there so it will be ok:

I’ve failed to see a media piece on ICP vs FBI that attempts to make juggalos look like a gang. Especially since the ACLU would be involved. If they spin it to be anything, it’d be spun for political reasons rather than demonizing juggalos.

No. Cops are not going to do that. The only places that garner this much fear are more backwoods conservative areas. Washington is fairly liberal and has dealt with marches from much more radical groups with out incident before. Why hasn’t there been a riot squad at a gathering?

The worst that could happen is that the fuck you to the FBI parade will further a resentment between law and juggalos rather than start an actual dialogue. ICP says it’s a middle finger because they are victims but failed to analyze the situation and acknowledge how juggalos got there in the first place. They are not doing it to pick on juggalos, that’s delusional and they didn’t do it to censor people’s individuality because let’s face it, juggalos are just as sheepishly cultured as goths, punk rockers and any other anti culture out there. It’s a reaction to a culture that harbors a lot of violent gang like activity in the name of the culture.

The best that could happen is that the media takes notice and public perceptions give a small push towards the right direction.

What will probably happen is there will be a march, a free concert, media coverage, everybody will pat themselves on the back, pull off a cool freeze frame 80s teamwork high five, and it’ll all be forgotten by the rest of the world in a month or two and nothing will change to take us off any list. Then a bunch of elitist memes about “Where were you when we marched?” shit and you know.

No one is gonna get maced. There are protests and marches in dc all the time. The police there are used to it. Unless juggalos act like asses, nothing will go down.

The last thing the police want is a riot and there would be a riot if they provoke one. It is in their best interest for the match to go beyond peacefully.

The media probably won’t actually be there. Its going to be small compared to other marches. No one cares about small protests.

No one is scared of face paint. Watch any nfl game.

Stop being paranoid.

If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

Before the last ICP show Psyral & I attended in Houston, local bars turned us away with “NO PAINTED FACES” signs on the doors. We found a nice Asian restaurant down the street that would take our money, though. Make of that what u will.

They do that almost everywhere. Not many people want to risk their liquor licence by selling to someone they can’t properly identify. A driver licence plus a painted face is not exactly foolproof. Many states and municipalities have laws on the books about this. More places than not it is illegal to be in a liquor store with a mask or facepaint on. It’s common sense.

We don’t drink alcohol, but the unpainted balla with us would have paid their kid’s tuition with his tab. Their loss.

Lol Peoria, Peoria.

My wife and brother and I left to find the local place to take our first and only shower, since we were sleeping in our car and had no hotel. We come back and the riot squad is there.

I rememebr feeling like a parent.. “I leave you fuckers alone for ONE HOUR!”

The show went on, but the riot squad was in the parking lot at the end of the last night. I was tripping hard on DXM and was joking a bit too much with one guy. After my final joke didn’t fly well, about 3 of them advanced on me slowly, so I backed away, got in the car and my wife drove us home.
