biggest issue i think is that east coast hip hop is still what it was 10 years ago. east coast hip hop used to be my fav, but it gets old. because its a bunch of white dudes yelling nigga and talking about raping things. like i love necro, but most of his songs are pretty much whores, im more hardcore then you, i grew up worse then you and i can kill stuff.
its like aussie hip hop. its pretty much teh same as it was 10 years ago, and thats why i dont listen to aussie hiphop anymore, because all aussie artist get funneled into a stereotype or shunned from the aussie hip hop scene.
i ahd a homie who did rnb/more west coast style hip hop adn he actually got booed off stage opening for some hip hop group. that shit is fucked up.

Aussie hip hop. you have to listen, i dunno how to explain it. go listen to hilltop hoods/drapht/bliss n eso.
Australians are generally pretty much stuck in their ways and refuse to accept soemthing new.
its sort of like hip hop done with a real wogboy style attitude. bliss n eso are probably the only aussie artists i dont mind.

to be perfectly honest, i stopped listening to aussie hip hop before he came on the scene.
ive heard a little bit of his battle raps with kursor (or whatever the fuck his name is) and i wasnt a fan.
i dunno how to explain it, you sorta have to go back and lsiten to tracks like barbeque – saffa mc, elevate – hilltop hoods , 1200 techniques and shit like that form the 90s and it still sounds like tehy are using the same samples and havent really progressed much lyrically.
there are some killer aussie artists out there, but they get crushed by aussies who wont go for change.
if you can find him check out soma, hes a english rapper who lives in perth, he has some pretty killer tracks but him beat production kinda sucks.

yeah i havent watched that battle & wasnt feelin his music anymore once he went into the electronica direction.. i was just pointin out how hes successful yet not the norm..
