Psy has the upper hand, imo. Hoodoo is killing it and blahzay is dope and only going up. If abk ever releases a full length it’ll be dope. Lyte will show us what he has soon. And of course ICP.
Mne has one act that I fuck with. I’m giving the new twiztid a chance because I surprisingly liked the singles but g mo is whack as fuck with no substance and everybody else, boondox, yw, roc, blaze are people who couldn’t really get anything exceptional going while on or adjacent to psy.
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

Ok, so after a little consideration in this I will agree with Rob in psy. Here is why:
ICP will always be worth half of MNE roster even when putting out bullshit. I am a fucking Juggalo, so of course ICP is the epitome of the scene to me.
Big Hoodoo is pretty damn good in his own right and ABK still pushes out some pretty good wisdom.
( I heard someone on another thread mention a freestyle rap battle. I will humor this a bit Lyte is the only one on MNE and PSY that really did that shit on a serious level to my knowledge so there you go. )
Why not MNE :
The roster is legit as fuck right? But the only artists putting out albums I can play from start to finish as the new guys. G-mo and Lex made darkness and casket factory look like amateur work. Pretty soon Twiztid won’t be able to afford this stacked roster also.
Why not Strange:
Strange is going in a “strange” direction nowadays. Just not feeling it. Starting to seem more and more mainstream everyday and I don’t listen to barely any mainstream players. Last time I even turned on a radio was probably over 7 years ago.

Mainstream isn’t a sound it’s a status of popularity. Disliking a label for getting popular is dumb.
Still my opinion.
By the way does being judgemental and a scrub really go together homie?
I mean I already love you, you don’t have to massage my salted spuds every time I post.

I can’t make good french fries unless I massage the salt into the spuds before deep frying them, you know this.

Also man I never said they “sound” mainstream I used the word “seem”.
I think they are branching in directions I don’t like. Musically I love what Tech does. I think the scene they have is less personal nowadays.
I remember seeing Tech when I was young. Everyone got to talk to him, chill with him. He performed in the crowd. You know what I mean?
When I see underground shows I feel the love…. Strange shows have a different feel to me nowadays. It may just be me. I am spoiled and picky I admit that but yeah just an opinion.

I think being judgmental and human goes together. Just depends on what you judge people on. I judge how people decide what music they like just as you judge people for political leanings or popularity. And we all judge people based on where they stick their penis. You stick your penis in a kid I make the judgement call to not let you baby sit.

When you say underground shows do you really mean underground shows or just juggalo shows? Because Tech isn’t a juggalo. And I really don’t consider him to be underground anymore either. One thing you have to realize about an artist when they start getting big is that they can’t just hang out in the audience anymore.

Yeah juggalos do it primarily yeah but there are some others like hopsin, buckshot, the lsp guys, skr people that will also do it.
I get why Tech doesn’t do it anymore and he definitely isn’t underground anymore. I just enjoy the personal experience you know? I still buy strange music specifically tech and prozak but I definitely haven’t enjoyed the last couple of shows I have seen by strange.
Like I said I am spoiled.
