Just to reply to a couple of your comments;

Sorry some of the questions were poorly worded/incomplete. I know that annoyed some people. I actually regret not including a lot more now that I know better.

Someone asked me why I’m writing this. I decided to write this paper because I have next to no contact with your group. As I said I live in Ireland, so my knowledge is limited to a few pop culture references and media articles ripping on you in one way or another. They led me to want to think about why there so much anger directed at you as a subculture. So far all I can work out is that it’s because you’re different, so that’s bullshit.

One of the main reasons it that you have such a strong following and sense of family/community, especially for a group who have such a negative rep. I wanted to explore that further because it’s really interesting.

I grew up surrounded by a tribe of friendly weirdos (for want of a better word) and they were like a family to me so I suppose there’s an aspect of self-identification too. You guys are just a more clearly defined group.

So there’s a few. There are tons more but I suppose I’ll be better able to articulate them once I’ve written it.
