Okay, so, because I get curious I decided when Jumpsteady and them were talking about the secret to give the whole “will things into existence with positive thought” type dealio. Here are the results.

I put it out into the universe that I wanted to do an event at my college. I got approval from the school and emailed the booking agent of ICP. I offered to pay whatever they want, if they could do it the same day that they are going to be in the area. I never heard back. I probably could have been more persistent with them. I probably should have mentioned it when J was in the chat room the other day. Show days are busy so I don’t blame them or anything. It was worth the shot.

I also put it out there about this girl that I used to see who moved away. We never got serious and that sucks. So I put it out there that I’d like to get serious if she plans on coming home for grad school. She started calling me randomly which was fucking awesome. We’ve talked a lot more than at any time since she has been gone. Our last conversation, she told me that we make better friends than a couple and that rejection sucks. She’s talking more. Maybe she’ll change her mind. Who knows. AND while I’m talking to her more, a new girl has shown up at my school who is just as brilliant of an artist as the girl in the above post and I think there might be a future there. So, maybe the secret is still working on getting me a hot ass art chick girlfriend. So, we’ll call that an almost? 

And then today, I was short 50 cents for a soda and it was so hot. So i texted all my friends on campus to see if they had 50 cents. No one did. One friend made jokes about the rapper. One friend told me I shouldn’t be drinking soda anyway. So I went to my class thirsty as fuck and on my seat were two quarters. 

So this is undeniable proof that IT WORKS so long as you keep it to chump change. 

or it was a coincidence. 

I mean, I was being facetious.

Also, instead of icp I’m doing an event with a writer I like in their place cuz back up plans are awesome.
