I had these in college.  I get them once in a while still, but since I know what it is, I just get annoyed and try moving my arm and forcing myself awake.  

 

They’re normal, but it’s usually tied to some sort of anxiety.  So, it’s more like it’s normal for anxious people.

Sometimes ur stages of sleep get fucked up when ur depressed, drugs and my favorite when ur in love. Basically ur bodys paralyzed because ur dreaming. If u weren’t paralyzed u would be walking around fucken shit up. But if ur stages are out of wake u become conscious at the wrong time so u become aware of such strange sleep. It used to scare the shit out of me. I would wake up and see Hitler aliens car ppl the shadow ppl….yelling for my mom. Or trying to u cant makr noise..

Lucid dreaming was hella fun! I would fuck that chick at school i thought was hot. Went to India. Flew of course. Once i took mushrooms in my dream and i kid u not i triped balls. I dont have them anymore i guess cuz im just not at that place now.

Next u guys sleep be prepared to look at ur hands. When ur sleeping look at the back of ur hands. Next ti.e ur hands then an object in ur room. And so forth. These how u can try to havd lucid dreaming on ur own.

I’ve had that experience too but worse.

One morning I was trying to get some sleep and was just starting to nod off when suddenly there was a dark figure next to my bed by my legs. I looked up at while completely paralyzed. It made no movement or eye contact with me and then it just fell on top of me and I was helpless to fight it.  Whatever it was it’s very powerful and had total control of the situation. Scared me to death and I’ll never forget that F’d up feeling.

I get this same thing on a rare occasion. I usually try to make my physical self scream, and see if I can wake my gf up, but it hasn’t worked yet. It’d be nice to be able to turn lucid dreaming on & off at will, but I have at least done a bit of flying, and a whole bunch of other stuff in a sort of conscious dream state. I think it’s fun, I’d like to astral project at some point.
