I feel like since the update there’s been a lot of auto-bans. Same thing happened to me, psyral, and I think Scruffy. Scruffy can’t ban people, and if Scottie wanted you banned, he would probably ban the account as well as the IP. He wouldn’t ban people over dumb shit like that, though.

My home IP was banned then quickly fixed by Scottie. Psyral suspects it’s the way he browses (opening lots of windows at once then navigating thru them) that flags us as spam.

Nobody gives a flying fuck about you, to ban you would be to imply somebody did. You’re a waste of space, in life and on the forum, and everyone just ignores you for the most part anyway. Why do you have to go to work to do what you do? You’re a scumfuck who uploads porn for a “Living.” You can do that from anywhere, why do you need to go to, as you call it, “Work?” You just use the computers at the Tim Horton’s you work at, if I had to guess.
I personally thought the forum was a much happier place without your repetitive hate filled rants, so I hope Scottie never helps fix your problem, and you stay unable to log in, until your shift at the Tim Horton’s anyway. Since you called out and shit on the one person who could help fix your problem, I wouldn’t hold my breath. You implied he buttfucks certain forum members and have tried to get his attention several times since then by repeatedly bashing him, all to no avail. He doesn’t answer your insults, I wouldn’t get my hopes up about him helping you in his free time. And thank God, this place is so much more chill and friendly without the_angry_canadian. You should be feeling stupid right about now, but digging your own holes for you to try and climb your way out of is nothing new to you. Like it has already been said, there is some sort of setting in CPanel that automatically bans IPs for what I am assuming is repeat connections from the same IP. I have asked our host if we can adjust it to be either more forgiving, or turned off completely. Three or four other people have talked about it in the forums, and you are not being singled out.
Like @piggofdoom said, if i wanted you banned, I’d delete your account. Could you make another? Sure. But it’d take a lot for you to stir up enough shit to where I would ban you. People know there’s a block option, and if they’re anything like me, they scroll right past your posts.
Sorry to @psyral-infection and @krunkazphuk for the issues. You’re not being picked on…just have a setting that we need to get squared away.

as for the browser thing that scottie mentioned your wrong because I use the same laptop at work and at home, i can log on to here from anywhere but from home even if I use my girls laptop faygoluvers wont load not even the mainpage and if i use my desktop same thing and even with my cell phone its my home ip adress that was banned.
That’s what happened to me too.
I honestly wouldn’t mind living in Canada, but I kinda want to travel everywhere. I am not “pro america” other than in the sense that it is my home. Canada has cheap medicine and maple syrup. I don’t give a fuck about sports or any of that.
I don’t see why you keep frequenting this place if you hate everyone here, though.

@the_almighty_smack , Yep that’s exactly the situation with me. My IP was banned so my laptop worked from other locations but just not from home. Neither I nor @krunkazphuk could even view the site from home. I think it has to do with the way I browse. I open a lot of tabs right away. Same thing happened to @piggofdoom and @scruffy since they browse the same way. When @punkrockjuggalo was banned he was hitting refresh too often. The server gets multiple hits from the same IP too quickly and shuts it down thinking something nefarious is happening like a denial of service attack. (or so my theory goes) @scottied is going to try to adjust the settings to make it more forgiving. Hopefully we won’t have this issue for too long.
