Some have also said our universe itself resides within a blackhole, then again, others imply were in a simulation or The universe is a hologram.

Soooo….

We need more data!!!!!

I remember learning a very depressing, but awesome tidbit in science class as a kid. The universe’s lifespan, in relation to ours, so far, for being billions of years old wouldn’t even be considered that of a newborn.

We are lucky enough to be alive in a time where Stars are still free to form, because for most of the universe’s life it will be a cold, dark, Isolated place.

Also, as time progresses you will see less and less stars and galaxies in the night sky because of how rapidly they are all moving away from each other. They are moving so fast we will never be able to explore any other galaxies outside of our local group due to their acceleration in the process of separation.

Man I could go on and on. Not to many things, Academically, interested me as a kid, but Astrophysics always peeked my interest.

Cool to know other ninjas dig this stuff too.

Yep!

We live in the Super-Luminous stage of our universe. It is a tiny (extremely tiny) blip that only exists in the very early stages we are in now. To put it into context, If you were to take the life of the universe from the big bang to the last black hole evaporating (no matter exists anymore) and map it onto a 100 year old human life, our present time would be within a second after birth. The time at which all stars have died and become celestial corpses is only a about a second after that. After this brief tiny spark of light, the universe goes dark for the remainder of its existence. Even after the last black hole evaporates and dies (100 years as mapped onto the human life), the universe will continue for trillions of times longer as the remaining energy homogenizes via entropy till there is no change in the universe. Entropy ends. The Universe for all purposes is then dead and continues to be dead for all eternity. Light and matter are an anomaly in this universe and, in a blink of an eye in the cosmological time frame, will be gone.

Instead of zooming in, I decided to increase the brightness and zoom out…

Your zoom in and enhancement is right on.

Zoom out… it is Snoop.
Zoom in… Ring of death.

Both are TRUE, in an epistemological sense. But the TRUTH, ontologically, is something different.
