I will be going to the twiztid show in Calgary on the 24th and was wanting to record the show. Does anyone know if this will be ok? I know some places don't like cameras. I was planning on shooting it with a gopro without a light. Can't see there being a big issue but I don't want to get harassed.

Most venues do not allow cameras like that unless you have a press pass. It all depends on how strict the security is, if you can sneak it in.

on't go and take this the wrong way but……are you retarded or something? I'm sorry, there's just no other way to say it. No, they will not let you record the concert. I'm sure Twiztid would tell you to go fuck yourself too.

Why don't you just enjoy yourself and record it to that hard drive in your head?
Great idea. You won't lose your camera to security asswipes or risk getting beat down by Twiztid personnel.

I've never had an issue at a rap show recording or taking photos. Just hold your camera in your hand when you enter the venue, I doubt they will say a word. They may look to see if you hid weed in the batteries slots, that's happened to me before.lol. Last night there were tons of people recording the show, they were just standing off to the sides as to not piss anyone off. Most rappers are happy if you upload that shit to youtube, it's free promotion. Of course at most regular concerts you can't do shit. I saw Steely Dan here in town a few weeks ago and anyone who snapped a photo had their camera taken away from them, a repeat offender was even removed I believe. Course that show cost me 175 dollars for a 5th row ticket in a high end venue. 30 dollar rap shows usually don't have the personnel to crack down on photos lol. Hell at the show in Brantford 3 nights ago, there was probably a dozen joints lit up in the venue during the show. Lots of Native Indians there that night, they know how to party!
