Would ya'll like a forum rank option on the forums? This question goes for the members, not the other mods. But as the members, underneath your post count and avatar you'll have a rank. The higher your post count, each rank you'll get displayed a so-and-so rank title. For example, members with post counts between 1-1500 could be ranked as Scrubs and post counts up to 5000+ could be Juggalo Elitest lol. I don't know, we may already be too far into it to really give a fuck but what do you guys think? Yay or nay? If so, I'll come up with something within the week. I COULD reset everybodys post count but I won't do that lol. I think possibly with the ranks it'll have a custom image displayed too. I have to look into it more. I've seen it done with other forums as well as a points system (which we could also initiate if ya'll are down).

I think it would create problems wit da website ie. Glitches and such. Plus numbers are another way people feel like they are higher/better than sum1 else and we should view eachother as one, ie. family. No more dividing and seperating the juggalos is my vote

While I can see the fun in it and how it might be "helpful" in certain instances...
I can't help but think of some of the more prolific trolls we have around here that would warp/pervert its' intended purpose.
If there was some kind of system of... I dunno... "moderation" that would ensure that this system would not be monopolized by spamming, threadjacking monopolizers that won't shut up until they get to be the CAR...

sounds like fun, but smack wanting everyones post count reset? tha just seems like a shallow grab, if that happens he will post 10000 meaningless troll posts just to get number one.
post counts are not that important.

I say nay because 1 it is unnecessary, 2 it sounds like it'll just lead to more complaints about deleted posts, 3 it'll drive up some peoples trolling and shitposting, 4, a post rating where people vote on the quality of posts with star ratings (like 1 through 5) would be interesting to see how hated we really are and would let new people to the board know who the assholes are but just high post count tells us nothing about the quality of participation.

Voting nay. My reasoning is there's posters on here with lower post counts who contribute just as much as those with high counts. It comes down to quality vs quantity. Plus if you are going to do it i feel you have to do it for you Mods as well. You would then have the owner of the website listed as a scrub lol.
For, me getting over the 1000 post count was like a silent badge of merritt. I don't want to see anything else associated with my avatar other than a post count.

It's a good idea in theory but in practice, a bunch of semi-anonymous Juggalos on an already barely moderated forum having what amounts to a social status would probably not go down well.

I like the rating idea, maybe instead of 1 thru 5 stars, a simple like and dislike feature be implemented or just a like feature. Trolls would spam good comments wit dislikes.

All you'd be given would be a rank title and it could be implemented for both members and mods, and admins. A ranking system perhaps? I think theres a plug-in for that I can check and look more into it. Its not necessarily a ranking 1-5, but a point system. With a "good and credible" post you can get awarded a point or something like that. If thats something ya'll would like added, I'll do it up. I don't think theres something for disliking a post though.

And the rankings seem to be this: (Unless ganjagoblin changes it - This is his creation)
Floob if < 100 points
Scrub if < 1000 points
There are like 7 level total but I don't want to reveal more... he may want them to be a surprise.
And every "Whoop Whoop" received is equal to 5 points.
Again... Subject to change at creator's discretion.

The Whoop Whoop above the members post is a 'thank you, props' kinda system. There are 7 ranks, if theres a way I could do more I would. Just another feature I wanted to drop for y'all cause I like tinkering with things.
