I’m not looking for pity points or anything like that. And I’m sure ya’ll don’t give that much of a fuck about what I got to say about shit. Ya’ll can make your dickhead ass comments about it, whatever, I won’t be butthurt over it. But anyways.
7 years ago I was told I have COPD. A lung disease like asthma. I’m too young to have obtained it, I’m 36. Mostly older people get this. But last saturday I got really sick. I usually stick it out and just buy some OTC medicines and shake it off and think nothing of it. Like with my allergies, I’ll get over it in a week, or so I was hoping. That monday hit me really hard and I couldn’t walk 10ft without feeling like I was losing my breath. Called the ambulance, sat in the ER for 4 hours and got admitted. I was in the hospital for a week. My first flare-up was 7 years ago when this first happened to me. And I’m just now recovering from one last week. It’s obvious that I HAVE to quit cigarettes and it isn’t easy. Been smoking for 20 years. It’s a scary experience to have to fight trying to breathe. I do my best at remaining calm not to get myself in panic mode. And the medicines the doctors gave me are not a good combination. They gave me steroids that cause my blood pressure to skyrocket, and the breathing medicine isn’t good when I take them, it creates another problem that I have to fight with. Fuck the steroids. Fuck them both really.
So all I wanna tell ya’ll who smoke cigarettes, quit ya’ll. I haven’t smoked weed in 2 weeks and I don’t really give a fuck about it right now in this point in time. I know theres the edibles and tincture shits with the weed in it but I don’t give a fuck about that. I’m not withdrawing from the weed, it’s the cigarettes. I remember joking with friends saying I’ll quit when I’m dead. I thought I would get cancer or a hole in the neck from cigarettes, not this. Losing my breath fucking sucks dick.
Cigarettes can suck my nuts.

I smoke two packs a day of DuMauriers and they cost $16 a pack that’s the only reason I want to quit because that’s a lot of money I just burn.
but when I am in places where I cannot smoke I have a plastic straw that I cut to be the same size of a king-size smoke and I filled it with a piece of sponge so that way it feels like you’re taking a real drag
my grandmother smoked for 60 years and she quit by asking God and with a little help of Nicorette’s gum

I wouldnt smoke if I didnt live near a native reservation(where theyre cheaper).. it’s just too expensive nowadays..

I can also go to Kahnawake 30 mins away where you can get a carton of 10 packs of 20 for $25 or 8 packs of 25 of the Deerfield brand for $30 but they are not as good as DuMauriers or Benson and Hedges
pretty soon there will be printing warnings on each individual cigarette and when they do that I will be buying strictly natives or I will quit

1 pack of Newports here is $10 and some change. A pack a day. The moneys important to me yes, but my healths gotta come first. Its just a tough fucking habit to kick. If only I looked at cigarettes the same way I look at beer. I think beer is disgusting poison ass sewage water. I need to reprogram my brain with the shit.

Yeah I’ll have to kick the backwoods before long. Prolly switch to just vaping and edibles before I’m at least 30 most people I know say they quit blunts around 30 because it starts to hurt I’ve really been liking the carts. Also seen they make a weed dip now but that’s only in cali right now I believe. That’d be sweet id love to pack a chew of sum bud.

I’m so glad i quit cigs 18 years ago. I had a different method, every time I wanted a cig, I smoked a joint. I also got my tongue pierced when I was 21 and the piercing went through the nerve in my tongue, so that sucked. Rinsing with mouthwash after smoking hurt so I really cut down then. But after my tongue healed I fully quit cigs by smoking joints, it only worked cuz I was selling pounds back then and had extra to burn, but now prices seem about the same.
I smoked cigs from 7-21, I’m 39 now.
