I wouldn’t say that everyone who is part of the family is poor white trash.  I’m from the UK, and from a fairly stable, middle class background, so with myself, it’s purely a choice of music and the lifestyle that comes with it.  Personally, I’m fed up of the whole misconception that we’re ignorant beings and sadly, this gives the overall impression to people new to anything Psychopathic that it’s perfectly acceptable to act like ignorant beings when in reality, most of us aren’t.  But then, that’s how it goes, isn’t it?  There’s always going to be a small minority who ruins things for the rest of us.  What happened to it just being about the music?  Le sigh.

of course we have people from all backgrounds races and religions. I was making a sweeping generalization based on my experiences with juggalos.have you made it out to the gathering? I know itd be tough being from uk, but you get the idea that many of these people come from broken homes.

I was just disagreeing with lucem saying we think we are better than everyone and we are hipsters when in a lot of cases we grew up thinking we weren’t good enough.  You are right though for many it’s just about he music(right lucem?) and if you stick around the forum you will find that most of us aren’t ignorant at all and we have a lot to say

The point I was trying to make is that with all the negative media coverage and the US government wanting to legally acknowledge Juggalos as gang members, this could attract people who perceive us as a gang and decide to become a Juggalo for that very reason.  I don’t want to be known as someone who is part of a violent gang because to me, that’s not what we’re about.  Oh and I’m hoping to go to my first gathering next year.  I missed my window of opportunity this year because of personal family issues.

It was just bad timing because of a death in the family.  I’m sure I’ll be able to make it out for next year though.  I’ve got around £200 in savings and I’m putting £50 aside each month, or whatever I can afford after bills, rent and food.

@Slumerican502 the music is the only reason why I’m here, and there is no denying that the culture puts it’s self in a lower class box and on a pedistal above richer, mainstream, and southern people.

If you piss off a generic juggalo, he will accuse you of being rich, as if being rich is an insult.

Anything mainstream at all is dismissed as complete bullshit with no talent about petty things such as money, cars or women.

That is until anything mainstream shows juggalos some love, then all of a sudden juggalos claim that person.

Juggalos hate southerners, that is the biggest reason why a lot of juggalos hate Boondox, he’s from the south.

Then again, most of you really don’t fit into the generic juggalo box. I meet more of them in person rather than online.
