My family,

I did something I’m not exactly sure how to handle.

I myself found myself drawn to the carnival just recently. I will be going to my 3rd show in 7 months after finding my place. I am a 45 year old newby.

So I’m going to see this show soon, and, my mugallo friend going with me will not be down with the clowns the same as I am, but we are going with VIP passes. I can totally justify my homie. He has had a stroke and walks with a cane and just wants out. I think that will lead to clown grace. But, what about me? I am supposed to know what I’m doing.

Do you think I should paint my face? I have before, but if I’m going to meet my idols, should I not appear as I am? I am not good at the paint, btw.

Will it be a brief blow-off thing in passing, or will I be tasked to do things and talk to people? Will my homie be able to hang with one arm and a limp? Am I over thinking things?

I am starting to think I’d have been happier if I did not get the VIP passes. That just can’t be true.

Anyway, if I could get some feedback, I might be less neurotic about the whole thing.

I have had some time to think also. I may not wear my paint everyday, but I do to shows, and then that is normal for me. I think I would be myself in paint in this case.

I have never seen anyone at a show suffer, or offend, because a homie had a difficulty. The opposite. I can’t imagine that is different with VIP passes.

I ride, but I have very important reasons for being down with the clowns, and gang-banging is not part of it.

For me, I was already half way through my Dark Carnival before I realized I was in it. Stuck on the first deck, 4th joker card. I’m trying to to be less greedy, and live my life for me before it’s gone. As should you all.
