Okay so the history of my name is kind of odd, I used to be a satanist, and, due to a schizoprhenic delusion, I thought I was literally a demon, sent from hell to enlighten the world and kill the scum of the earth, so I gave myself the name Iris, because I was the eye that saw the truth. And nowadays I just think its a nice name.

Also its just Q and then hunter, not combined lol, I used to go by Q when I wanted to say something anonomyous, tbh I stole it from street fighter.

Btw if I ever try to convert anyone to satanism I am either A. going through a mental crisis or B. off my meds. So just ignore me eitehr way.

some dinky ass thing I found in my dead uncle’s room ): I think drum synth is the right word. It probably isn’t very good but its all I got, though I should probably just buy some software or something, I feel like they’d be easier to figure out.

if I’m not using the correct terms its cause I never really learned that stuff, most of what I have learned about music involves theory, I’m gaining some recording knowledge from videos but I ain’t great.

Then people could use the acronym ICP when talking about your album  

Honestly thats a freaking great name, I might do that, but I’d have to take my heaviness up a notch, maybe with some deathcore, that could really work for something like, idk, bang pow boom, it’d be suuuuuper different than the original, but I think it would work, I might try writing that now, anyways, how would ya feel if I used that name spooks?.

I can do this odd feminine voice that I can rap with, though it always sounds like I’m sort of yelling and it can crack a lot, I haven’t gotten it down pat yet, but it seemed servicable in my first recording, at least for my style. And yeah, I can be my own back up singer, wich is loads of fun, I love doing various voices, and I could probably do skits with multiple characters as well, though its gonna be a little hard.

Ive found out about some things if you can google a model or serial number that maybe google folk have a different name for it than what your calling it. Then you can youtube it and find out how to use it better. Ive done this with many things. Also making things do what their not exactly designed to do is fun and often pretty rewarding. Screw drivers make really decent prybars if your in a pinch.  

I know the model already, its an Alesis SR-16, there’s some reviews and videos and such, including a fucking hour long video manual, I might check some out, it doesn’t seem there’s any alternate names for it.

And yeah, I love making things work to do what they’re not designed to do, I wanted to put 13-66 gauge strings on my guitar (some of the thickest guitar strings you can get for a standard guitar) but the bridge was a floyd rose and the whole thing was just not made for it, so I bought 40 dollar springs for the bridge to hold the whole thing down to account for the extra tension, and had to rescrew somethings to even get the low E string to fit, it was a lot of effort, but I loved it.
