I think he’s a stupid shit that acts fake as fuck and tried to use this corpse as promotion for himself.

But I also think that the people who are so outraged are stupid shits that act fake as fuck because while it’s easy to get angry over something so minuscule I know most of them have not, currently aren’t, and probably never will do anything for suicide prevention.

So really, ya’ll are cut from the same cloth. Except for Noah, I’d believe Noah has done something for suicide prevention so for once he’s above all of you. Here’s a clap of appreciation for Noah Fence.

I just think people forget that society evolves and its not always going to be pretty and we have a responsibility to ourselves. 

In other words free speach and the internet exist. Doesnt mean we have to be a fan a of everything and buy into sensationalism.

True. But is this outrage people have for him not just sensationalism in it’s self?

That’s the most annoying part to me, people pretending to actually give a fuck.

Ur allowed to not approve and feel outrage and also not let urself fall prey to manipulation and sensationalism.

And not that i think ur necessarily talking about me, but i care alot about suicide. 

I guess sensationalism can go both ways.  

I just think the amount of disgust shown by people is disproportionate to how much they care. I never watched the whole video, I got through a few minutes of him taking artistic shots of the corpse and the look of legitimate shock on his face. And the retarded intro where he tried to sensationalize the corpse and the constant repetition of him saying all of the cliche suicide prevention stuff. This dude is a fucking idiot, and often times doesn’t seem to put much thought into what he does. I knew this prior to this video. What I watched, while tasteless, though I’m probably one of the last people on the planet to judge anybody for being tasteless, was no where near as bad as the reaction seemed to imply. What happened was a celebrity watched this, went off on him for it, then everybody else followed. Suicide has always obviously been something close to my heart, but I don’t give a fuck about this just like I didn’t give a fuck about ICP making tasteless statements about Kurt Cobain’s suicide.

I think the problem Lucem is you think disapproval is the same as “outrage” and “disgust”.

Calling the dude names and thinking he went to far isn’t outrage. It’s disapproval. Outrage would be more extreme. It’s like I disapprove of people smoking cigarettes at bus stops so I don’t stand next to them and tweet shit but I’m disgusted with people who leave kids or animals in cars in the heat, and I express that disgust through my outrage by wanting to smash a window open.
