Anyways this may be a bit of a rant.

Who here still prefers the physical disc with the booklets and art over MP3 downloads? I know I do. However, I do have an MP3 player so I can bring my tunes with me wherever I go. But when I’m at home kickin back, lighting one up, I like to put a CD in, and play it all the way from start to finish, as if it were a movie. Because I believe that’s how you get the most out of an album, by hearing it all the way through. Not just picking your favorites and discarding the rest.

MP3s are handy for travel, but my best experiences and memories come from playing the whole album while reading the booklet and admiring the artwork.

I still collect CDz. I prefer 2 buy all of my music that way. I have about 250 or more cuz in my collection. My Ol Lady has about the same amount too. I rip the CDz to my Laptop and put the CD away so that I don’t scratch it. I like 2 keep my CDz lookin as new as possible. I just burn the whole album onto a burnable cd and jam 2 that 1. I hate this new digital era. The music duznt feel as real 2 me. Just my opinion.

I Agree. How I do it is. I download everything 1st for free. If it’s horrible, I delete it and never think about it again. If I dig it I buy the Physical cd.

Yeah man I totally agree with you. I really dont think much of this digital age myself, I mean what happened to enjoying a record? Everyone will just download the single they hear on the radio and be done with the rest of it. To me that’s just a waste. That’s not fair to the artists who make the music.

Will always love and buy CD’s. I have so many that to convert to digital would cost a fortune, and take a whole fuckload of time to find it all and download it. I like getting the case with all the artwork, liner notes, all that good shit.

I hope the boxset is a good price because I need to replace the first six and HG only has COC, RB, and Wraith-SL/HP as well as The Wraith remix albums.  Buying from Amazon probably wouldn’t get ICP more than $0.50 a CD, plus there’d be shipping for each CD unless I bought it from Amazon [which would come out about even vs. someone else on Amazon offering it for cheaper] and tax.  So here’s to hoping the box set isn’t $80+.

Cds. Its not the same. Buying a cd and popping it in and enjoying the art work as you listen is great. The digital download isnt as magical. Though, I do like having all my music on one device so all my favorite songs are in one bipolar playlist.
