A little over a month ago we first brought you the story of a juggalo named Aaron Spencer who was battling a failing liver. You can read that post here. Last week we sadly had to bring you the news of his passing. You can read that post here.
Today the latest edition of the Hatchet Herald came out and featured a journal post from Jumpsteady about meeting Aaron Spencer.
Psychopathic Records will be having a benefit concert with all proceeds going to Aaron’s family around March 15th in Dayton, Ohio. Insane Clown Posse, Menace to Sobriety and From Silence to Violence will be preforming. Once more details about this show are announced FLH will post them.
On one finally note I would like to personally thank @scottied for helping Aaron Spencer get one of his dying wishes fulfilled.
What up fellow ninjas,
I wanted to take a moment to recognize the passing away of a fellow Juggalo. His name was Aaron Spencer. I was told by his fiancée that he passed away quickly on January 15 at 3:16 am. A few weeks back his friends were able to reach out to me with the help of faygoluvers.net in the hopes that I would call him. I went to the Faygoluvers post pertaining to Aaron and read that he was very sick and that he considered me to be his favorite artist on Psychopathic and that he had a dream to one day see my song Ninjas in Action performed live. I called him on Christmas Day and told him I to had the same vision and came close once to actually making it happen. He told me how he moved to Colorado back in the day and there spread the Juggalo love wherever he went and was a big part of how the Juggalo movement over there got started. He also told me how sick he was and that he chose to return home to his family to send his final days amongst those he loved. I could tell just by that one phone conversation that he was a fresh ass ninja who remained strong even when faced with the twilight of his life.
After that conversation I felt the need to see him with an almost absolute resolution. I can’t explain it in any other way except that somehow it became the single most important thing for me. On the eve of my departure I told my brother Joe (Violent J) about my mission for the first time and he immediately joined me. So we drove to Troy, Ohio, met up with our Juggalo homie Will and went to Aaron’s apartment. There we met Aaron’s fiancée, friends and family. The amount of instant connection I felt with them was overwhelming. There was a feeling of intense Karma and love that permeated the room. There Aaron lay in bed and even in his weakened state he has able to rise to greet us. They say that you can measure your own worth by the quality of fiends that you keep and even though Aaron was having difficulty speaking; the quality of Aaron’s strength, personality and freshness was evident in all those who stood in that room and in the glow emanating from his own aura.
We all shared stories, laughed, hugged and even shed a few tears. I think for a moment, for everyone in that room, everything was alight. Even my own worries and fears just simply subsided and to me that meant something. One of the most important things in this life is the relationships you create with others and I feel that karmicly I received way more reward from meeting Aaron and his crew than he could have ever received from meeting me.
In remembrance of Aaron….we at Psychopathic along with ICP, Aaron’s fiancée, his family, his close Juggalo homies and David Johnson of Menace to Sobriety fame (and a close friend) are all putting on a benefit show with Insane Clown Posse, Menace to Sobriety and From Silence to Violence performing. This show will take place around March 15th with all proceeds going to Aaron’s family. The details of the show are close to being finalized but it will take place in Dayton, Ohio which is very close to Aaron’s hometown. We ask that all Juggalos consider coming out to this show to support the cause and to pay homage to Aaron and all our fallen brothers and sisters throughout the years.
In closing, I wanted to add that Psychopathic sends out mad love to Aaron, his fiancée, his family and Juggalo homies and our prayers are with them during this difficult time. I have no doubt that when the time comes for all of us to cross from this world and into the next, that Aaron and all our Juggalo homies who have passed away before us will be there waiting on the other side.
Peace Always,
Jumpsteady

A shout out needs to be given to Scottie D at Faygo Luvers for telling us about Aaron. We’re it not for Scottie, we never would have heard about Aaron’s plight. So mad clown love to Faygo Luvers!

Jumpsteady and Violent J make a dying Juggalo’s wish come true!
Monday 20th January, 2014 by ScottieD
Now that the latest Hatchet Herald is out with the story of now deceased Juggalo Aaron Spencer, I wanted to tell you a little bit about how this all came to fruition. If you haven’t seen it yet, Jumpsteady posted a story in the latest Herald about he and Violent J going to visit a ninja whose health was ailing. Just over a month ago, PRJ posted an article about Mr. Spencer who was at the time in the hospital with a failing liver. Not only did we post that article, but I forwarded the email that Spence’s homie Philip sent to me to InsaneClownPosse.com webmaster J-Webb. Webb seemed touched by the email, said he would forward it, but couldn’t promise anything.
Fast-forward a week, and I got an email from Aaron’s homie Philip again saying that Aaron received a call on Christmas day from Jumpsteady! Juggalos, let me tell you how awesome of a feeling that was to have played a tiny part in making that happen! Even through email, I could sense the sheer joy and enthusiasm that Philip had for his homie! He said it truly made his day, and that he asked his fiance if he was dreaming!
As if that wasn’t cool enough, I got another unexpected email just 3 days later saying that Jumpsteady and Violent J jumped in a car, drove to Ohio, and visited Aaron at home in his apartment while he was surrounded by close friends and family! Philip included a couple of pictures from the visit (one which you saw in the latest Hatchet Herald), and gave me the breakdown of what happened! He wanted to share the experience with the world via Faygoluvers, but I told him that maybe we should keep things on the down-low in case they didn’t want to bring it to the public eye. Now that it’s out in the Hatchet Herald, I want to share Philip’s email about what happened:
From: Philip R.
Just wanted to share this with you man! Look who stopped in to visit Spence! Oh My God how fuckin’ cool of them!! We are keeping this between the homies, but just wanted to let you know that you had a BIG part in making this happen! Thank you! Spencer thanks you! I thank you! Spence’s mom, hell his whole family thanks you dude! Words can’t describe how much love goes out to you! Everyone keeps telling me it all happened because of me, but it also happened because of you, and them being the REAL motherfuckers they are!
How fresh of an email is that?! I just wanted to give a little bit of inside info about how it all happened, and give HUGE props to Jumpsteady, Violent J, and J-Webb for making this happen! Also, HUGE props to Philip R. for reaching out to us in hopes of helping fulfill a homie’s dying wish. That is the epitome of what being a Juggalo is all about!
While we at Faygoluvers only played a small part in this, I will NEVER forget the impact that it had on my life, as well as all of those involved. Much respect to everyone at Psychopathic for truly caring about their fans!
Last but not least, if you didn’t read the Hatchet Herald, you might not know that Aaron recently passed away. Our deepest condolences go out to his friends and family.

Thanks @ocj_brendan for the love. I didn’t do shit but get behind someone who was in dire straights. I’d do that for any one of you. I couldn’t be happier that this happened. I actually got an email on Xmas morning from Aaron’s friend saying that they just received the call. I just wish Aaron made it through his ailment. Fuckin’ sucks, but at least he got one HUGE bit of flavor that was on his bucket list before he left us. Thanks to @punkrockjuggalo for the props too. Seriously, write ICP / Jumpsteady on their FB because they did all the legwork. I’m rambling now, but much love to all you motherfuckers!
