Juggalo tattoo etiquette.

I waited about two years after I designed my tattoo before I actually got it (a compass with a globe in the middle of it). I've been very reluctant to get any sort of Juggalo tattoo because I always think about things that I was super, super into in the past that now I'm not quite as into, and that I wouldn't want a tattoo of on my body. For example, when I was younger, I wanted an Eye of Horus tattoo really badly, and now I'm like…man, I'm glad I never got that Eye of Horus haha. I'm just scared that I'd get a Psy tattoo, then 20 years from now wish that I hadn't gotten it. The compass, however, I'm fine with looking at for the rest of my life :-)

I have a hatchetman tat…..I know that I will never regret it though. Even if I don't listen to them or call myself a juggalo in 20 years it will always be a huge part of my life. To me it's a reminder of all of my principles and values if that makes any sense…..

I know a lot of juggalos with 'Dark Lotus' tattooed across both their wrists…

I only have 1 tattoo, a hatchetman on my shoulder. I plan on getting a Twiztid tattoo eventually , I want to put a lot of thought into it before I do it though… and get it done in a good shop. So it doesn't look like a homie tattoo lol.

Yeah, I can see how it would be a popular tattoo through the juggalo community. My view, personally, is that lotus is the mac daddy of all the good that psychopathic has built. Rydas is good for that gangsta mood but lotus is deep shit. Id love to have a lotus tattoo but I haven't set out the time to sit down and make one that would really reflect all that lotus means to me. That would take alot of time, but I feel like lotus is worth the thought and creativity to create some original artwork, not copy exactly what the actual members of lotus thought of themselves to show they are in the group.

But this is why I posted this shit, because I was curious to see what yall thought of it, I dig all the opinions. No disrespect if you have this tat, do what you do and fuck the rest.

A friend of mine has a Lotus cross tat. It looks terrible. Very boldy, it's a shitty tat for $50, so you get what you pay for I guess. Having DL on your wrists is cool, the dude is AMB has it done too. I don't look at it as disrespect or anything. I have 2 tats myself, one on my wrist and one on my right leg. Never really got into piercings. I like tats more. I don't have any Psychopathic ink but I'm sure eventually I will. The music and the juggalos have been an a steady chapter in my book of life.

I have a Lotus cross on one leg Milenko on one shoulder and Twiztid on the other….and that is enough jugg tats for me, I try not to have anything that shows unless I want it too, hence the shoulders/legs deal….the only one I plan on having showing are my family's coat of arms my brother and I are getting together on our arms, and Ive always wanted a turtle shell on my elbow….

I also waited 5 years before I got my DL cross….cuz Ive been down since I was 13 haha

I have no psy ink. I woud like to in time, but its no rush. Getting a tat of something you have only been into for a short time is a bit wack. there is a few famous people I was into and I'm not anymore.

Example- I liked Taylor Swift. Then she turned into a whore. And sang about it. Thats wack. And I don't support her anymore. I woud regret having her tated on me anywhere. Thinking about it tho a T-tat would be wack if I still liked her. That besides the point.

Those tats will be on his wrist and visible to the world for the rest of his life. I hope he stays down, or at least support what they stand for.

I didnt get a tat till I was in my mid 20’s…I can see why 6 mo is not long…took me years to figure it all out though and really feel the magic…like slumerican said its more about a reminder of the principals and values I get from it..I got j and shaggy on my forearms…slipknot tribal s on my back calf…..j has blue hair on my tat..I wouldnt have paid big money for them but my bassist in my band at the time had a gun and did a good job for cheap..
