I say I won’t live to see him die cause I’m 33 and already had a heart attack, I’m fat and have an enlarged heart and a family history of heart disease. On top of that, I had testicular cancer and had surgery but I didn’t detect it in time and it spread, so I have to get chemo-therapy, which doesn’t work. It went into remission once but after a few months it came back, they found it because they test my blood every two months or so. Remission is like a vaction resort for cancer, vacations end and shit comes back. Now, I realize my recent love affair with McRibs didn’t help, but fuck if I want to die eating spinach. I’m not trying to bum you out, but the doctors don’t have much faith so neither do I. It’s cool though man, I’ve been around the world, slept with more woman than I remember, been to 11 Gatherings in a row and had a fun life in general. We all have a time man, in my opinion. If I died tomorrow, that’s okay, I lived a full life. And if you guys were the last people I ever talked to, that’s cool too. So here’s some inside info for you guys, if you ever have to place a bet on who will live longer, Stephen King or Pat Joyce, bet on King.

I won't give you words of encouragement because I know sometimes words can be meaningless, but there is no reason that you should give up on yourself. Miracles do happen and reality is stranger than fiction.You have a very positive way to think about things though. Like the gunslingers say you don't have to die happy as long as you die satisfied.
