i believe it may be a thing……most Gathering Veterans know about the Gathering Flu/Plague…..you feel like absolute fried butthole a few days to a week after the Gathering…….People from all over the world Gather as do their Germs….i believe that Juggalo Day in all its magnificence has drawn a Plague of its own…
I feel like the butthole of some week old road kill….anyone else?

you know, it now occurs to me that most of the forum ninjas werent there… or havent brought it up.
you and scottied are the only two i can come up with off the dome. and wowzers. maybe i need to look again.
seems to me that as time passes, gathering plague is evolving into juggalo plague. i got a lil ill after shockfest.
gathering last summer, i did fairly well, plague-wise.

I did not get sick after juggalo day. nor did the 2 friends I went up there with.

I definitely got sick as hell. I felt fine the whole time I was there, but for 4 days got a grand total of about 10 hours sleep. Exhaustion plays hell on the immune system. I slept like a baby at the Gathering last year and don’t remember being especially sick afterwards. Between the bitter cold, lack of rest, and being surrounded by 5,000 people carrying who-knows-what, it got me.

and Scottie if i remember right, you dont smoke…..so my theory of smoking after Ninjas from all over might have holes in it.
i DID take a bunch of Emergen C this year and i just didnt get sick till much later after i got home, but still was crappy respiratory gunk and coughing

there was this ninja used to go to a lotta the shows in springfield [mizzo], he usually had a surgical mask on. mighta had gloves, too, dont recall.
people thought it was a gimmick, that he was tryin for a ‘look’. nope. just didnt want to catch anything.
