@piggofdoom i find i just straight up dont like alot of colour realism tattts. and paul acker is one of them. they are cool tattoos but i dont think i would even have to think about it. nah ill pass.

know a bunch of people in the tattoo biz.  a bunch.  

been heavily pressured to get myself into the business.  not gonna do it, though, for many reasons, the biggest being that no one wants a tattoo from a guy that has none.  and, that the whole ‘apprenticing’ thing is some bullshit.  

 

anyway…  they all, without exception, scoff at people who walk in off the street and tap some random flash on the wall.  even the ones whose forearms and thighs look like sketchbooks, from all their ‘practice’.  

cracks me up, too.  i dont know why they even bother to hang flash, except to fill up wall space;  its always the same two dozens designs, over and over and over.  or some shit they saw on facefook.  ‘i want something that sets me apart, and really fits my personality, so im gonna get this trendy silliness that every other kid is wearing’.  

 

mmmmbrainz put it best:  decide what you want to wear, and where you wanna wear it.  then wait a year.  if ya still want it, its a good choice.  if not, youre probably better off without.  incidentally, brainz is one of maybe five people i know who has tattoos that im jealous of.  

if/when i ever get around to gettin tattooed, its absolutely gonna be custom art, applied by a master [of all the artists i know personally, theres only three, just three, that i would let tattoo me].  most likely, itd be art that i provide, or at least, the basic layout would be mine.  these guys [actually two guys and one chick], i would trust to be able to actually improve the design.  most artists cant even draw as well as me, and im no pro.  

 

if the artist says they ‘do tats’, thats a bad sign.  

if they say ‘tattoo gun’, instead of tattoo machine, bad sign.  

if they dont try to talk you out of gettin a tattoo on a spot that will wear away, like most of the hand, bad sign.  

if they talk about how fast they are, bad sign.  

if youre drunk, or even slightly tipsy, and they dont tell you to come back tomorrow, bad sign.  

 

if you ask about a jokers card or hatchetman or sumn, and they say anything about how lame icp is…  very bad sign.  they will do a half-assed job on it.  heard that story a zillion times.  and people wonder why i tell them that their riddle box tattoo looks like a green smurf.  itz cuz thats what it looks like.  

 

i can go on and on about this stuff.  most people have incredibly low standards, considering that they will be wearing the tattoo for the rest of their lives.

Dude scruffy i was 16 when i got the wraith me today would of got tom woods art work it looks nicer and phuck i basiclly have lost a lot if shit cause of my association with icp juggalo shit pretty much this girl i loved everyone has that one person saw my tattoo and was like wtf did you do we stayed together for a month i commuted back and forth across state every week. and worked a full time job etc but when it came down to it we broke up because I’m diffrent my musix taste is shit my she isn’t down with all the icp shit anymore its not like i flaunted it everywhere. i had left my charm with her. dumb idea. I’ve had people straight up not want to get to know me because they saw my tattoo I’ve lost a job because of it and I’ve had long time friends stop hanging out with me because of me being a juggalo and worse thing of all is the people who were down that stopped being friends because I’m still into icp :/ so it’d be a lie to say you can hace icp tattoos and live a normal life the world.is. bigoted.

I agree with @ganjadude , I wouldn’t want friends that judged me on superficial things like tats or my taste in music. If a person doesn’t have enough depth to look beyond the physical, I don’t need them wasting my time.

You should be happy that they abandoned you over something that really doesn’t matter. It showed you who they really are inside. There are people who don’t care if you are good looking or ugly as fuck, if you have tats or listen to whatever. Those are the people that you should invest time in. If they turn out to be someone you can mesh with, then you are good to go.
