Comments for miles! After scrolling through them for about five minutes, they all begin to eat their own tail. You’ll be counting for hours the number of posts demanding others “get a history lesson”. The level of willful ignorance is ASTOUNDING!

My favorite part(s) are when all these YOUNG white kids like posting pictures of misguided black folks either wearing or waving the flag… like these VERY few handful of idiots validate their points. Oh so many memes and gifs and images of the rest of the confederate flags and ones mixed in with the gay pride flags and swastikas. It’s fuckin’ amusing as hell!

However… what concerns me in the middle of all this is talk of The Gathering. People claiming to be Juggalos saying they are “down” but still wave that flag (along with fake ass bitches saying that up until the point that they saw the post that they were fans, proving that they are morons and never actually LISTENED to what ICP ever had to say) and get pretty fuckin’ abusive about it.

Anyone else observe that there’s gonna be a JCW/BloodyMania match with Rude Boy and Southern Tracy Smothers called the “Flag Burning Brawl”? … Fuck the shit with Nova Rockefella… THAT is probably gonna be the thing that’s gonna set shit off. I’ll be rootin’ fer Rudy but I can see some shit going down for anyone that’s in for Tracy… let alone the dude himself showing up waving that shit around. I know Tracy’s supposed to be the heel but… get that dude some protective gear!

Oh man, gawd help the dumb motherfucker that tries to rep that flag at this year’s Gathering. Between ICP making this song reaffirming their stance on it, the number of ICP noobs that don’t seem to have picked up on their views on rednecks and the flag (as they ALWAYS have) and everything that’s going on in the world with the government and corporations [finally] removing this shit from view… this year could be a political fuckin’ hotbed!

Let’s just hope ninjas would rather fly the Hatchetman than those “stars n’ bars”. Jeesh!

Every time ICP posts ANYTHING you get a lot of people who don’t like ICP posting in their comments. I’d be most of the people who support the flag and were saying “I was a fan before but not now” aren’t fans at all. They just wanna stir shit up.

Bravo. If people really want an open & honest discussion how about calling bullshit on the alleged South Carolina killer’s manifesto? I have family in Charleston and anyone who believes the Klan isn’t there has their head in the sand. How about shutting down Charleston’s tourist trap “Old Slave Mart” which when I was there had reward posters of runaway slaves in the gift shop?

I’d also like to point out it goes both ways as far as tolerance. I see all these people on FB defending the rebel flag but get up in arms about people burning the american flag. Either its all OK or none of it is. We can’t pick and chose. Well, I suppose we can, but y’all know what I mean.

Since today’s culture considers some information to be ‘hate facts,’ in some ways we’re living in the Dark Ages. Ban things, pay not to know, but that shit still goes bump in the night. I’d rather see it for what it is.

The thing is, nobody is talking about “banning” the flag. they’re talking about removing it from government offices and shit. There’s no reason the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT should be waving the flag. if some racist asshole wants to wave it, that’s their right to free speech. No government body is telling walmart and amazon etc that they can’t sell it. that’s all grand standing. The only thing anybody is talking about is that the actual government shouldn’t be waving it. Which makes sense. The south lost. If someone wants to rep them, they should own that they’re racists. 

I say burn all the flags. It’s just a symbol. it ultimately means nothing. They’re just fabric. It’s the ideas behind them that matter. And the confederate flag is about the superiority of white people over people of color. I’m not about that.

Since 40 states (including South Carolina) don’t require background checks for private gun transactions (the loophole that got the alleged killer his gun) you may be right.

I don’t like the flag and I don’t like the people who support it. Met juggalos and juggalettes who liked it and I told them how dumb as shit they were. Again, I’m an asshole so I spoke my mind on the nonsense they were spewing at me. The neden wasn’t worth it that night. Telling me they’re ‘rebels’ and ‘ICP says juggalos are all different with different mind sets so it shouldn’t matter what we represent’ and all this nonsense. PA’s above the Mason-Dixon line, you stick out like a sore thumb if you’re representing it up here. And some people even wear cowboy hats up here like wtf? 

i’m right out side Cleveland Ohio and, i have recently seen a verry rusty, jacked up, truck driving around with two giant confederate flags on the back, i mean these things are like 4 foot long, confederate decals on both sides of the cab and big read letters on the back window reading “Rebel”. i’ve seen this jack ass five or six times in the past couple of weeks… talk about wanting people to know your an asshole XD

I know a white buddhist dude who would wear the swastika symbol which meant something entirely different in buddhism than it does in the western cultural frame of reference. Eventually he accepted that sometimes things mean different things to different people and you have to let go of your meaning in favor of the meanings held by others.

He still has swastikas in his home, but he does’t wear them in public anymore. 

If you truly think the flag is about heritage (it ain’t), it’s gonna be your turn to realize that it carries other weight too and it’s your responsibility to decide which means more: Other peoples safety and comfort or your expression of heritage.
