Hello everyone I’m going to my first ever ICP show on Oct 14 in Austin. Going by myself as all my friends are busy. What should I expect? Would it be wrong if I wore paint? What should I wear? Would I be isolated being 34 and being there with no one?

Face paint at the concert sounds great, but other establishments (restaurants, bars, etc.) might deny you entry.

I suggest bringing a towel to dry off the Faygo before your ride home.

Bring a plastic baggy for your phone and one for your wallet.

Paint is cool but try to get something that won’t run when the faygo hits. It kinda burns. Grease paint is good.

You won’t be isolated. Lots of juggalos are older. Make friends. It’s easy at a icp show.

Bring a change of clothes.

You can analyze and balance out the pros and cons of all those questions but I promise you, no matter what answers you land on, you’ll get there and realize that none of it matters. But like, in a good way, ya know?

If you’re the type of person that overanalyzes and has social anxiety and whatnot, a good ICP show really is one of the very few places where you can finally put down the stress and have a good time.

Footwear is important, I think. You have to be prepared to have your shoes ruined with Faygo. Not that they will for sure, but the danger is real.

Wear whatever you want! Maybe don’t wear white, unless you want a purposely stained up shirt as a show momento.

I like to paint my face, but it really can sting the eyes when mixed with Faygo. The Faygo itself can sting too. I have a friend who wears goggles over her glasses during ICP to help with that.

You won’t be isolated unless you wanna be. Juggalos are like the easiest people to start up a conversation with. Just chat people up, you’ll probably make some friends.

Fun have at your first show! Let loose and get silly.

@Gunbunny45 2 days! How are you feeling, more excited or more worried? Don’t freak out at the mass of people or the soda. Im a small guy and ask if i can squeeze in closer to the front and normally people let me thru. Get as close to the front as you can, scream your head off and FEEL IT, at least till the first faygo break. (Which is what i do) Be sure to wipe your eyes and look at your brothers and sisters there with and beside you at least once. You wont feel alone for very long. The feeling that hits you is like something ive never experienced before. There is always the locals that just want a cheap local show, watch for those guys. You can normally spot them before ICP comes on within the opening acts. They’re few and far between but they always show up. Keep us posted, please!

Right, seeing juggalos dancing in the faygo rain is an amazing sight, especially the 1st show you attend…

Dont be afraid to scream random shit…if you dont lose your voice you are doing sumtin wrong.
