Living in Utah, there are far more Christians and Mormons.

Lots of Mormons, depending on where you live.

Can't stand the theocracy this place has become though.

Hell, we don't even have a football team because they don't want Sunday games to interrupt church.

Really really goes against the separation of church and state thing.

It's gotten really out of control.

Stupidly people let this get out of control though.

The Mormon church shut down 50 year old business's last year to open up a new mall.

I thought that was bullshit.

A lot of those business's were well known places that drew tons of tourists and celebrities.

Nothing to do on Sundays now, that's the reason the Mormon church shut them down too, the were open on Sundays.

So not only did they take down state treasures, they also prevented tons of potential financial gain.

That financial gain would have helped our economy.

Our state really didn't have any control over it to be fair.

Only because that property was owned by the Mormon church.

Oh well though, life goes on.

No use crying about it now.

So, how do you feel about our country's present condition with separating church and state?

Under observation, I feel that the citizens are the greatest destroyers of this.

Nobody likes voting for people who don't believe in their beliefs.

Damn shame since religious beliefs shouldn't have anything to do with politics.

Actually, the federalist papers stated that the president shouldn't be looked upon as a spiritual leader.

You should know as well as I do that the voters in this country definitely overlook that bit of information.

We have porno shops, and our porn isn't censored. I live just down from the stadium too. That's weird. The people who go to those games walk past the apartment I stay at all the time. Makes it hard to take the dog out to piss because the dog likes to tell everybody that he runs the neighborhood.
