Conservatives are dead set on keeping the 1950’s Ozzie & Harriette way of life going to the point they will turn a blind eye to rape and even elect a president who is the total opposite of everything they stand for.

This really speaks volumes about their character and the true nature of their values.   

I was happy. A victory. Just wait till Ruth Bader Ginsburg retires in a year and is replaced then shortly after when Stephen Breyer is replaced. Trump will have placed 4 Supreme Court justices out of the total 9.  The swing towards Constitutionalism will last for several generations.

Kudos again for fucking up what was meant as a good thing. 

The topic name has “Keep this going with recent related topics”. I did not bring politics into this. I did keep it going, though, after that with recent related topics based on the previous recent posts.  I don’t bring up politics unless someone else does first.

It has been requested many times before but if I see politics posted with which I disagree, I will give my opinion. I have never shutdown or prevented anyone from posting their opinion here. Even if you wish to advocate against it, I will always let you do so but I will not personally restrict opinion on here ever.

There is a community that WANTS to THRIVE in these pages only to be consistently put down by those who should have a primary drive to encourage rather than tear down…

I agree and have cataloged many posts and actions by “arrogance of power” that does exactly what you are stating. It is amazing how many turn a blind eye in regards to it for certain people but yell loudly when others do far less.

Some people need to come to terms with the fact that the thing they thought they loved, no longer wants to be loved by them.

Again I agree. It used to be a larger pool of people who followed the “arrogance of power” but the forum has continued to improve as that group has dwindled to a small group of 4 or 5 people. Every time one of them leaves, it brings more civility to the forum.

I will continue to respond to politics when someone else posts about it first. I will continue to respond to things with which I disagree when someone else brings up those things too.
