What up fam, I hope everyone had a good Christmas/Holiday and New Years. I wish that I could say my fiance and I had a good trasition into the New Year. My fiance and I were forced from our home that we've been renting for the last year and a half because of mold. The house we rented together, thinking it was going to be our home for a long time, has slowly been hurting us and making us really sick. We'v e tried our insurance and have been denied. We've lost all of our furniture, clothes, bedding, childhood toys and lots more. We're curently staying with some friends who are letting us stay in their spare room till we can get a new place. We would really appriciate it if you would check out our story. Whoop Whoop. https://www.gofundme.com/6zqph23s

I'm sorry you guys gotta go through that nonsense. I ain't got the money to help you out but good luck. I'll post on my juggalo social media for you.
Thank you so so much, that alone is a big help. Even just getting the word out there and letting others who might be able to throw a buck or two our way is a big deal.

Here's a link to the Social Services Income Support Division in your area (Winston Salem, NC):
https://www.co.forsyth.nc.us/DSS/TEAM.aspx
And this is from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
"What type of doctor should I see concerning mold exposure?
You should first consult a family or general health care provider who will decide whether you need referral to a specialist. Such specialists might include an allergist who treats patients with mold allergies or an infectious disease physician who treats mold infections. If an infection is in the lungs, a pulmonary physician might be recommended."

I hope this information helps your healing process.

Sorry to hear this. That's bullshit that you're getting the bone here, the landlord should be footing the bill for all this. I wonder if you might have a legal case against the landlord, you definitely did a good job of documenting everything with your photos. Here's a link to a non-profit that gives free legal advice about housing in NC, it's probably worth a call just to see what they think:

Why did you lose your clothes? Couldnt they just be washed?
Some of them might be able to be washed with boiling water, but when mold sets in it can leave behind stains and spots where the mold had been. We are trying to save some clothing items, but we also don't want to risk spreading the mold to other places by bringing it in the car or over to friends homes where it can spread.

Thank you for the link. I will check it out and see what I can find out. Good looking out fam :)
Thank you everyone who has read over our story so far and has shared it. I wish i could put into words how much this means to us. But words barely cover the gratitude we have to everyone helping, weather it be a share a donation or even advice and good wishes. It all means a lot to know we have people on our side.

Just an update ninja: We started clearing out our house today, 1/3 of our stuff is left in the yard, the rest the land lady said to leave in the house. One of our cats is safe with a friend of ours, the other wasn't doing well health wise and had to be taken to an animal shelter. While getting all this shit out, we found even more mold around the baseboard behind the couch. So much is being left behind.
I had taken more pictures but they came out blurry cause it was after dark. When I go back to the house to get the last little bit of stuff I'll take pics of what is having to be left inside the house.

This sucks man, so many undeserving people get thousands of dollars on shitty gofundme's, but you two really really need it and you only got a few hundred bucks.
I'm sorry I can't donate to you two, I would donate thousands if I could.
Thanks fam, that means a lot to us both. Just hearing some kind words like this keeps our spirits up. We have our family who are behind us, helping where they can, great amazing friends who have let us take over their spare room for us to live in for now, and my friend from high school watching over my furry baby. Though we may not have as much as other gofundme's money wise, we are thankful to have people in our lives who keep our spirits up like all our fam here too who like you have sent positive vibes and good wishes. :) I don't mean to sound super sappy, but its true.
Everyone thank you. For every bit of advice, good wishes, shares, donations, anything. ALL of that helps in its own way.

So with everything that has been happening on Feb 14th Richard and I were also in an accident. Here in Winston it snowed and while I was taking him to work we hit a patch of ice and ran into a ditch. So now the car is in the shop till march 4th. This is just more and more piled on what was already going on. We have insurance to cover it mostly, but the deductible is still $500. If any fam out there is able to help we could really use it.

I'll post your gofundme URL to my blog @lillybdeadly
Thanks so much for posting the go fund me to your blog, and right now we've managed to buy at least enough clothes for now. But were super trying to get house stuff. My uncle sent enough money i was able to get pots and pans and some kitchen things, but we're still trying to get the money for big stuff like a couch. Richards sister got us a mattress that we are incredibly thankful for. Thank you for the offer of clothes though it means so much.
