So we are gonna paint it up for the show but after reading up on what icp uses and shit I found two problems price and it may not get here in time if I order all I need for the 4 of us. Got any cheaper ideas I can definitely find near me that can at least semi hold up to the sweat and Faygo?

Don’t go cheap even though that is what you want to do. I use Ben Nye face paint. You will want to apply it with a good stage makeup brush. Don’t finger paint it on. To make it completely sweat and faygo proof, you will want to use a translucent setting powder (also available from Ben Nye) after applying the paint and top it off with (again Ben Nye) finishing spray. I have used this method at the gathering. Made it through concerts, slept and woke up the next morning with the paint still on. There are other brands, but many Juggalos agree that Ben Nye is the best. You can get it at most professional costume stores. Don’t use the kind you get at Halloween stores, it won’t hold up.

Ouch, think Houston is the closest place to me with that brand unless somewhere in Dallas has it. Houston is 4 hours and Dallas is 2.

Since you already got the tubs, just make sure you close them well afterwards or they will dry up. I use the smaller ones (the little disks and not the tubs). One of the smaller ones will last a long time. The tub will last through literally 100’s of painting if you don’t let it dry out. You are going to find that you really only use very little. The stuff it very effective. And use youtube to search for ben nye makeup application. You will get some good tips on application and using the powder and sealer. I also recommend washing your face to remove all oils before you start application. Plus if it is your first time, Give yourself at least 3 hours to apply. After a few times you will get much more proficient at it and it won’t take as long.

When it comes to scratching your face, don’t. use the little corner of your hatchetman charm to poke an itch on your face. Eventually you will get to a point of not needing to scratch your face but the first few times it will feel odd and you will get random itches on your face.

I also do the application with a bunch of q-tips around to quickly fix mess-ups along the way. Make sure you have some good makeup application brushes (one for each color) – Be careful with color cross-contamination.

That’s why they show the smaller makeup pencils before they used the larger tv sticks.. they kinda look like colored pencils, those are used for the finer details that Jamie is always sporting
