From the comments of that link…
“DEA Judge Young found that “marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man. At present it is estimated that marijuana’s LD-50 [median lethal dose] is around 1:20,000 or 1:40,000. In layman’s terms… a smoker would theoretically have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times as much marijuana as is contained in one marijuana cigarette… nearly 1500 pounds of marijuana within about fifteen minutes to induce a lethal response.”
1500 pounds in 15 minutes? I can always try!
But seriously… Great article @piggofdoom

Miracle plant. Saw a video where a young boy had some form of cancer and marijuana helped him out. Kids healthy now. Bong hits for Jesus today.
I’m sure you’ve also seen the “Charlotte’s Web” article about how it virtually ended this 3 year old’s epilepsy. I will also be actively supporting the legalization of this plant tonight by consuming large amounts.

I dated a girl who had MS that said marijuana helped her out a lot too. I work with older folks who think there’s no purpose of marijuana being any beneficial to anybody. I think about my cousin who smoked a blunt and got all extra paranoid and freaked out over shit, of course not everybody I guess can handle smoking it. Edibles and vaping are healthier alternatives but the older generation, I believe, is stuck believing the nonsense that marijuana possesses. That it’s a scheduled 1 drug, as bad as coke or heroin I forget which one. Cigarettes are a lot worse than marijuana, wish I could quit the habit of smoking cigs. I’d have more money for trees.

I don’t toke anymore, maybe once every couple years (paranoia after smoking), but I was and am a full supporter. My mother had breast cancer and her only choice was a double mastectomy. Too many lumpectomies were tearing her up and not getting the job done. So after the mastectomy, she had to take these chemo pills for a brief period. They gave her bad nausea.
Despite absolutely loathing the paranoia she gets nowadays from weed, my mom smoked it anyway to cure the nausea. It WORKED LIKE A MAGIC CHARM. Why? Because it really is a MEDICINE!
She stopped toking after she got off the chemo pills. Now she’s scarred but healthier, and the cancer is gone like the bitch it is. THIS is why I almost choked a grown woman Psych professor for saying marijuana should be completely eradicated if she had her way. Because it “totally messed up” some girl she studied’s life. Fucj out ta here with that shit, you narrow minded cunt. You have influence and dumb students will hear your ignorance and maybe believe it.
Would she deny weed medicine if her own mother asked for it? If she is the Epitome of an Awful Woman like I think she is, then probably would.

i wouldnt call it a medicine, exactly. but the reason for that is, i remember that medicines are, in fact, drugs.
most people in america somehow separated drugs and medicine in their minds, and think that ‘medicine’ must be safe, and ‘drugs’ must be dangerous.
too much tv.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

This all reminds me of “Natural Born Killers”.. the emphasization of a huge green “DRUGS” sign outside the pharmacy that Mickey and Mallory try to get snakebite venom at, and when Oliver Stone lays the phrase “too much TV” over Mallory in the Native’s tent. They’re having that godawful shroom trip during all that. Love NBK.

Pigg she was just a sheltered community college broad that has little common sense. I’m friends with another Psych prof who is literally a nymphomaniac despite having an outward fem Nazi agenda. She’s seen more dick than all the Richards in the country yet is oblivious to the message her vagina is sending. Some women say its “sexual liberation using men as the object as opposed to women”. I say its being a terrible example of a decent human being. Fuck professors.
And Lucem by that logic food itself is a drug. And I agree with that. I’ve said that theory for years. Shit the air we breathe is a drug. Should it be taxed and portioned out by the government on some Total Recall shit? They will try some day.
