Go where they’re having the gathering? Do they have open campgrounds?

I haven’t been there myself, but I’ve heard consistently great things about the Hocking Hills area… I think it’s south a little ways. There’s always the various campgrounds in the Mohegan area, which I’m personally pretty fond of. If you choose Mohegan, make sure you go rafting on the river. It’s typically not rough AT ALL, and a very relaxing and scenic trip.

My wife, two sugar gliders Big Stank and Lil Poot, cat Raoul Duke and myself drove out west from NY in august 2008. The first place we stopped to camp was called Geneva-On-The-Lake. Its in Ohio, can’t remember where exactly. But Google will help.

It was one of the, if not the best campground we stayed at. You can pitch the tent wherever there is space. There are two little manmade fishing ponds. Nothing too exciting for fish but you don’t need a license, and they sell bait there. There’s swimming n stuff too. It was a cool place.

This is mainly a family place, so it may not be the rustic type joint you guys are seeking. But its relaxing enough. Just sharing my only non-GOTJ camping experience lol. Have fizzun shun!

Best pet names EVER….my coworker has sugar gliders and she brought them in via a backpack on her four year old daughter’s back so no one would notice…I am a manager so I forced everyone out of the break room and let those little bitches run wild…it was great…

Back on topic…Hunter S Thompson is my motherfucking dude…although he would most likely slap me retarded if he ever heard me say that RIP…and Jamie and Paul are the shit too…so nyah best pet names EVER stand up nicely…

Thanks homie. I miss them all dearly. Had the gliders for almost a decade. And Raoul Duke didn’t fare too well after returning from the trip. It was more stress on him than we realized. I won’t go into that sad shit tonight tho… my old homie took the cue and named the stray we gave him Gonzo.

No pets currently. If we get another pair of animals again one day, they shall be named Fear and Loathing.

Raoul Duke just saw the world for its entirety and couldn’t go back just like the genuine article…It makes sense to me…hes purring at HST’s feet right now eating blotter paper with Jebus…

My pets names are GiGi and Ozzy…Gi Gi because of Gloria (My girlfriend who found the bitch in a box when she was a puppy, and her brother Greg who has taken the dog as his own since she was a pitbull pup) and Ozzy because my daschund has always made incurable and indecipherable noises when hes happy or upset…(still those names pale in comparison.)
