If you’re wondering where I been and why I haven’t been calling out your bullshit lately it’s because I’m finishing up three AA degrees in the next week and have been getting my transfer to the next level of school all straightened out, while trying not to fail out of a math class which is kicking me in the nuts on a daily basis (math is murder).

Anyway, I found out the other day that I got in to every school I applied to, including my number one choice (UCI – go anteaters). I might get to study video under a black activist artist who made really compelling video pieces about the history of race in America

or a woman named Antoinette LaFarge who works mostly with critiquing the phenomena of collective memory and the way that mass perceptions can greatly differ from facts and become more true than facts in certain kinds of contexts, and mythological narratives.

basically I’m super hyped for this and thought I would keep those of you who aren’t on my facebook or instagram in the know about where I been.

I’ll also have some dark lotus statues for sale after friday if anybody wants em.

They’re gonna be soda fired (a type of firing which involves spraying sodium bicarbonate into the kiln while it is on) just because of the name. I have no idea what that’s gonna do to the color.
