at scottieds behest, this is to let all you non-member types know that as of early this morning, guests cannot post in the forum. read only.
this is a countermeasure against the spamming, which, lets face it, has been ramping up badly the last few days.
the good news is, now you have a reason to sign up and get… well, nothing you didnt have before. sorry, but its probably better than being buried by random, nonsensical posts.

Good riddance. Gawd damn guests, thinking they can come into OUR forum and take up OUR post space. Y’all need to either apply for citizenship or go back to where you came.

yes it has. since i started keeping count this afternoon, i alone knocked off 111 spam threads just in the design showcase section.
i feel for the guests, though. id rather they be able to chime in without being forced to sign up, but in the end, its a pretty small inconvenience.

Its does suck the the spam bots ruin the posting for guests. but you can sign up here and start posting again
but the spam has gotta out of control where i spent more time deleting spam than anything else
fyi number wise (yesterday)
i got on there was 64 in the morning i deleted
1 and 1/2 hours later 36 more
and then i stopped looking at the number beside the topics with unread posts thing
not bitching just stating facts

I’m not seeing any spam so good job keeping up with getting rid of all those. And I’m not sorry that guests can’t post no longer. Just sign up.
