Having seen an AR-15 (which I’m assuming has the same barrel length as an M-16 I could be wrong) next to an M-4 its noticeably shorter maybe even as much as half a foot. Disclaimer on this is that is was five or so years ago (Indiana State Police have them in some cars and my cousin has the AR for hunting/home defense.

I’ll actually be doing it quite often, I’m going to a LE Battalion, which means I’m gonna be doing patrols, battlefield forensics, convoys, security checkpoints, shit like that. I’m the field side of military police, not the base cop side.
