Facebook can have tons of drama, but just try ignoring most of it and it'll be fine.

Like, if a dude is willing to talk shit over face book that you know won't talk shit to your face don't even pay attention to it. Maybe just block them. Or not. And if the chicks try getting at you knowing that you are taken, block them skanks and send them my way.

the only use i had for facebook was organizing parties and other various "less that legal" activities... after i graduated, and got clean, i stopped talking to EVERYBODY from my high-school days (cept my two main homies but they live walking distance from me), so i said fuck facebook.

BUT for a aspiring artist, i can see it being a very useful tool... so i say go for it Chunk, what's it gonna hurt?

My experience, condensed highly:

Had Facebook years back, so living in NC i could keep.in contact with my NY homies. I moved back to NY, everyone changed and most all betrayed me (long story), so i took a break for almost two years. A month before mpving out to Colorado I reactivated it, to keep in touch with family and the few NY friends that I still chat with. Facebook makes friendship lazy - one of the best things I'd heard someone say on it. Like, no one came to see us when we lived fifteen miles or less away, but as soon as I announce our move, everyone is making plans to come visit us thousands of miles away, due to Facebook "reconnections" .

I will say this: block people. Even ones youre 60% about. I have about thirty people blocked on Facebook. Sometimes they make a new account and request me. Sorry, it aint gonna happen. Thats two of "you" blocked. People that want to destrpy my marriage, are just embarassing, or aren't suitable for professional friends to see.

The two years away from Facebook were fine. It was both freeing and isolating. People are pretty wack overall, and I say this from a "glass is half full" persona.

It's strange that my facebook friends are  people I know personally and get into trouble with and that stuff, but we rarely ever use facebook to socialize. Half the people that use face book post funny memes and videos, the other half post inspirational and emotional quotes and bitch about how hard life is, then the third half has to detail every bit of their life as if facebook is writing their biography.

I don't get much of that, but I do always see the same five memes pop up and circulate then about two or three months later comeback.

I get it, everybody on the planet thinks they are bipolar.

There is also the rare 'political activist' that just posts every single political quote or story with out even paying at attention to what they are posting.
