Oh for sure, but they fly under the Boulder Juggalo radar and do manage to book gigs here sometimes. We all know the truth but ask the average Boulderite they would have no idea there was a Juggalo connection to KMK. I’m talking about kids at their shows even. The cannabis factor makes them legit here I guess, I don’t know.
Even knowing the history would I consider current KMK as “Juggalo Music”? No. I see them as there own thing, they started playing for us but over the years they seem to have changed their focus. Oh they will take Juggalo money and play Juggao shows, but do they make music for Juggalos anymore? In my opinion, no. They, like Tech, are artists who have adopted the Psychopathic business model. There are tons of similarities, but that’s where the similarities end, for lack of a better cliché. I don’t know about where you live, but here KMK shows are like 80% bro-types who would have been mocked at an early KMK show. They went full retard somewhere along the line. Again, opinions.
