Hi,
First, I’m not a juggalo, but I’m partial to your cause.
That march is a big, important event. Someone is going to try to fck it up. Dont let them. Stay on the ball, the goal is a peaceful march to show that you’re not a gang. It’s more or less a civil rights movement. So, you need to buckle up and stay focused on a peaceful march.
Your country has a long tradition of fcking over various movements for various reasons. They might not literally unleash the hounds anymore but you still need to watch for stuff like infiltrators and people hijacking it to turn it violent. Remember, the media wont give a fck who did what, the only thing that matters is how the frontpage picture looks. Facts have had nothing to do with your news for a while now. So dont give them any chances of getting a bad picture.
Some twats, maybe a lot of twats, maybe uniformed, maybe instigators by the FBI or whoever is in charge of fcking over movements nowadays will come out and try to taunt you or trick you into doing something so they can get a bad picture to frontpage. Dont fall for it. Stay the course. Peaceful march. Whatever happens.
If stuff blows up, or shots are fired or cars plow into crowds, put two or three people with each victim for first aid and support, cordon it off with a human chain and keep everyone else marching. I dont know what the rules for marches are in your country but you will not be able to defend yourself. A car is hard to stop. Dont fight back, they want that bad picture, nobody will give a fck about who started what. There’s still time to take a first aid class and you’ve got doctors and nurses among you.
It would probably be best if you dont drink alcohol or do any drugs of any type (including prescription, if possible) for say 24-72 hours before the march and during, because they might arrest you and try to make anything stick they can. People are afraid of what they dont understand and there are buttloads of people out there who dont understand your movement. Dont give them anything they can use against you. And you do live in a country where having say three cough medicine bottles in your pocket can land you in trouble if they really want to. (Seriously, how do you people not feel a bit of puke come up when you sing ‘land of the brave and home of the free’)
No weapons of any kind. Yes, no hatchets. Nobody will give a fck that it’s your thing, hatchets. They’ll take a buttload of pictures, add some photoshop and make up a story. Dont make it easier for them. Probably best if you also entirely forfeit shields and helmets. Peaceful march. Take the losses. Maybe have a couple ambulances of your own on standby. At least have some medically trained people with supplies. A few vans with spare water bottles maybe. It’s your thing, you do you, but just do whatever you can to keep it peaceful, regardless of what happens. Even if nothing happens, it’s still a buttload of people in the same place, you’ll get a few people with a heatstroke or a sprained ankle.
Maybe agree on a chant, to keep everyone on the same track. Personally, I think ‘family’ covers it reasonably well, if someone among you starts losing his cool, it’ll hopefully remind him or her that you’re there to show that you’re a family, not a gang. But again, it’s your thing. Just for fcks sake dont pick anything violent sounding.
Stay in groups, dont disperse. Go to the march in groups of say a hundred and leave afterwards in groups too. The vultures will circle, waiting for a chance. I dont know how your country usually handles toilet breaks during marches but bring a few pick ups with port a pottys if you have too (and if it’s allowed). Dont let anyone wander off in search of a toilet on their own. Stay in groups, but try to look non intimidating at the same time. You’ll be a large, weird group of people to outsiders, that’s inherently scary, so dont make it any worse than that.
Peaceful march. Keep it peaceful and keep it going. Best of luck.
I dont know how you people prefer to communicate so if you could spread this if you think it’s worthy of being spread, that would be nice.

@nothingtoseehere , Thanks. I have had conversations (twitter) with groups who have already said they wish to join in and co-op the Juggalo March “against Trump”. I have explained that this has nothing to do with politics and 100% to do with the unconstitutional classification of music fans as gangs by the FBI. If the purpose is held strong and does not deviate, any off point co-ops will leave the march when they realize that the Juggalo March is about a constitutional violation issue and not about racism/anti-racism or left/right politics or any other binary divisive issues. This is non-partisan and non-binary. There is no “for” or “against”. This is about bringing attention to an issue that has not had a strong voice because it does not YET affect very many people but must be brought to light before other groups fall into the same classification under similar guises.
Stay on point. Do not deviate. Don’t muddy the message or purpose.

Exactly.
It bothers me that you even have to say that…how did such a simple objective become so distorted.
Fuck them damn snakes and their mind games…they will not be able to stop the juggalo shine…#Beaming and #17ing #Fluently

Appears as though someone at Psychopathic Merch is instigating a bit.
I wholly support burning that flag, but not at this particular event, where sparks can strike anywhere.
I also feel as if all the leftwingers, hipsters, and media are intending to use Juggalos as
I will admit, being an adamant Trump-hater and even more so a hater of his supporters, that the idea of a showdown was initially appealing. Until some of my closest, anti-Juggalo friends started posting pro-Juggalo memes. Shit irritated and unsettled me.
So, after a bad couple weeks of rage in my own personal life that mirrored the strife of modern social struggles… I will swallow my pride and say this: the advice given above is sound. March peacefully, show them we can.
Also, there is a chance that something will spark violence NO MATTER HOW peaceful we are. Plenty of peaceful protests have been turned by one catalyst. In fact, most peaceful protests are seen as an affront to hate groups.
If things go awry, then there will be no point in peace. Defend yourself if no other options are available. I mean defense, not offense.
I am even going to lead an example to others online.
Psyral, Krunk, Ubi, Miklo… truce in the name of the greater good?

For those going, you may want to prepare for rain. Current date map of hurricane Irma path. Washington DC is set to have the system hitting on the 16th. The size of the storm will have it receiving rain before and after the 16th.
Those who are familiar with hurricanes know they are difficult to predict so there may be no issues with weather at all. Just a heads up to plan for such a contingency.
