That truly sucks homie. If you can't get an extension on your unemployment benefits (i'm assuming you've used them both) you sound like you could qualify for SSDI. That's disability. You can qualify for that with depression, anxiety, etc. You would have to have   a doctor diagnose you though, more of a psychiatrist actually. That will take more than 3 weeks but at least you can get the ball rolling and try to get help as soon as possible. You might also want to look into food stamps and cash assistance from your local DTA (Department of Transitional Assistance), as that won't take as long to put through. I had to do it years ago, nothing to be ashamed of homie. We all need a little help sometimes. This probably isn't the way that you were looking to go but it's what first popped into my head. That sucks homie...Ive had my run ins with drugs too, and coke is no joke, and anxiety as well.  Disability would be an option, but finding a job you like doing is a really good way to keep your mind offa shit.  Retail might be a little further away from your demons then restuarants, but they still show up there too man trust me I know.  What Pat is saying about seeing a shrink to get disability diagnosis is also a chance to try to get some help for your problems too.  I had to go that route about 5 years ago, and having a neutral party tell me what I didn't want to hear, helped me get my mind right so I could get back into school and work.  I hope shit gets better keep us updated man.

Yea smoking decreases my anxiety, thats just me though i've heard some people like @old-mr-dangerous who as they got older smoking made them more paranoid, so I hope that dont happen to me....
