2001 was a huge year in my life, so brace yourself for a tldr post.

This year was 8th and 9th grade for me, sorry to make some of yall feel old. Hippiekush said he has 5 in 2001 so i feel yall…anyways.  that summer was the first time i finally smoked weed for the 1st time. I say finally cuz i wanted to since the 6th grade, and by that time i believed in my heart it was a medicine that was “banned” for evil reasons…yeah i started early with the conspiracies logic.

Anyways i met a ninja at my campground i went to alot, and he was the 1st juggalo i ever met. By this time i been listening to icp for 3+ years. I was hella excited to met this fellow juggalo my lil bro ran into at the clubhouse in the campground. My bro told me he listens to icp and that he wants to kix it and burn one. I was ecstatic and said “what the fuck are we waiting for”. We met up with him and he heard “blaze all day everyday each way the right way my way green hay we high” and instantly started wild’n out. We walked to the woods and he blazed up a joint he stole from his dad. It was some “panama red”, according to him…and it did have bright red hairs with extremely bright green herb. We had to light it a couple times cuz it was sooooo damn sticky.

At this time i asked if he ever hallucinated after smoking and he said he once saw a being in a tree that looked like the great milenko swinging around and laughing at him….lmjao….then we tried to walk to the causeway (about 7 miles). We walked for what felt like 3 hours and decided to turn back. It only took 15 minutes to get back, lol. On that ealk back we found a  burnt cd on the side of the road that said “icp mix”. When we got back and played it, it was all Britney spears songs…ever since if i ever made a cd for that ninja i met that day, i always throw the song “hit me baby one more time”, for a good troll.

That summer i had alot of 1st…Coincidence since its 2001?…big time.  That year my mom let me drive the van around the campgrounds by myself(i been learning for about 2 years at this point). Thats means i was 13/14 driving around drunk and high with my new found friends. We did it off cooler snatching and if we couldnt score we had the pool lifeguard grab us 40’s of magnum xl, since it was the cheapest in town. This juggalo is still homies with me to this day.

I learned how to make bowls outta pop cans (always faygo). I learned to play “chicago”(i forget what others called it), but its where you hit the pipe/bong and hold the hit in till it gets passed back to you…9 of us went around twice outta a steamroller with an 1” socket bowl head one night! We also had bitches skinny dipping for us since we could get access to the pool after hours. I also bought my 1st pack of ciggs from a store. 

After that summer my new found ninjalo told me about a haunted house back home in cleveland that he is gonna work at and i shpuld sign up too. And thus began my 5 years of greatness working at a haunted house….yall have no fuckin idea how fuckin fresh that shit is…especially when everyone you work with all gets fucked up. A memorable memory from that 1st year: my ninja i met at the campgrounds had a red skylark, and another juggalo from the haunted house sprayed his car one day with faygo red pop and actually fuckin stained his red car….we also used to pack like 8 people in his car before work and burn route, clown car status….lucky for me, the girls would fight to sit on my lap over the other people.

I could go fuckin on with soooo many stories, but imma stop it there, for now….but now its time for the music part. Fyi at this time in my life, i been frequenting the library often for music, and that juggalo i met introduced me to mike jones and chopped and screwed music. I would rent anything with a parental advisory sticker on it. Since its hard to remember what exactly i bumped alot, imma cheat and use the Wikipedia link of what albums came out that year and put it in two categories…heavy rotation and more than one spin….and not mention what was already out prior to this year that i bumped alot that year too.
