I know how thankless that kind of job can be. i agree with this 110%.  

really, i didnt realize just how involved ganja is until this year.  or more accurately, i underestimated the work that his involvement requires.  it takes a lot more effort than you would think, keepin this place functional and pretty.  gotta be committed.

some thoughts of mine on some of the mini-categories…  

for musician of the year, a no-brainer:  a tie between @sean-law, @lucem-ferre, @siccse7en, @bloodstepp, and @qaivon.  i wouldve added @sketchez and @theresolution5 as well, but they havent really dropped all that much this year…  must be cookin up somethin…  

guess ill settle on sean law, although i really cant think of a tiebreaker.  

if it was ‘artist’, instead of musician, id be strongly inclined to go with @neverthrive.  

i had forgotten about ‘avatar of the year’.  

@cheshyr with the cracked heart was a pretty good choice for that, and ill add the perennial nod for @wonka69 and his big bag of avatar tricks.  

but i gotta go with sean law, the whole ltb doppelganger thing he was doin.  that was priceless.  

best thread is a really tough one.  i think i gotta see some more noms for that, maybe dig through the archives a bit.  

if were gonna go ahead and have a lo and lette of the year, my vote for juggalette of the year goes to @verytwiztidraven.  true, she aint been around quite so much lately [she dislikes the sniping and shittalking.  i dont blame her], but me and jules got along swimmingly at the gathering, shes always got good stuff to say, add her gotj writeups are essential post-gathering reading.
