Altered States is my all time favorite trip flick, it will seriously fuck with you. Hellraiser 1-4 are trippy as fuck as well. The Simpsons movie is great on acid also Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, that will bring anyone out of a bad trip, although the oompa-loompa's, well, I've seen that go both ways. First time I ever dropped adid was in a movie theatre watching Independence Day when it first came out. I didn't know what is was about when all was said and done, I was far too busy watching the reflections on the wall and watching the fingers on my hand move. Movie theatres are a great place to trip out. Any movie can be entertaining on acid, some are just better than others. I used to watch Home Alone on acid all the time, it was a blast. It really doesn't matter what it is.

If you got in to see Scream, that could've been even worse. Crowded movie theatres aren't a good place to trip in my experience. Being surrounded by that many people alone can freak you out, did for me anyway. On top of that, it's even more people to get pissed at you for laughing at every goddamn thing on the screen. I'm one of those people who can't trip without laughing through the whole entire experience. I've learned to avoid going out in public if possible, at least to limit it. People can always tell I'm on something, because my pupils are huge and make my eyes seem like black holes. When they stare at me, I start laughing at them, and that can go either way. A movie theatre with only a few other people in it is best in my opinion. Also, on another note, NEVER watch Paranormal Activity on acid. Ruined my night.

THEY LIVE

Had to this one to once again praise the movie "Mandy" starring Nicholas Cage. You don't even need drugs to come under it's spell. I watched it high and drinking, but I wouldn't want to watch it tripping. I used to be fearless about that experience, but now I value my mind more lol

Yall mentioned how it doesnt necessarily have to be "a drug movie" to be enjoyable on psychoactives. True. 

Examples: I ate some of my fresh shrooms before going to the county fair and getting startled by running into every single person who I didnt want to see. My wife drove me home and suddenly the intensity of the green country forest made me grin. Then, where my dad had balded the lawn from digging up the septic tank, a huge Mario 2 style quicksand pit appeared and was sucking long black things into it. So my wife beckoned me inside, and there was some stupid girly movie about chicks who wear these masks and rob banks called "Sugar and Spice". Completely lame movie otherwise, and I would never want to watch it again, but for some reason when those girl's masks came on the screen, everything was so bright and blonde and colorful that I burst out laughing and couldnt stop. 

My brother was on acid and stared at TV static for a long time. He was telling us all about these doves he saw in the static. No movie at all there. Just a running television.
