FLH: Tell us a little about yourself.
Dirty Grim: My name is Dirty Grim and I run an independent record label out of Los Angeles called ‘Genocide Entertainment’ which has always been a part of the westside wicked shit movement. We started the record label in Italy in 2012 where we made our first album (Dirty Grim and Smoky Tha Klown) since we needed something to go tour with across southern Italy. After that we migrated back to our hometown of Los Angeles and immediately got a few new members from the circle of ninjas we grew up with and started performing shows in the city. Our initial west coast roster included Dirty Grim (Myself), Tripp Vomit, Frank Dracman, and Mr. Creepz, and we booked and performed regularly from 2012 to about 2017. We also picked up a younger artist named Wakko the Kidd (Wacko) who now runs the Airheadz brand and recently got signed to Psychopathic Records. Our street team and local supporters were the Los Angeles Juggalos. To date I have never seen another Juggalo crew that was actually based out of the city of Los Angeles, every crew repping the city was usually from a neighboring area. With the gang culture in Los Angeles being the way it is, we got into a lot of public altercations with other people in the city throughout our initial phases of doing business and representing the Wicked Shit…we were always known for doing reckless shit.
FLH: How did you get introduced to the underground music scene?
Dirty Grim: I was introduced to the Underground music scene when I was about 11 years old (2011) when the homie Popeye brought over and left a cd with some ICP, Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, ABK, Psychopathic Rydaz, Tech N9ne and familiar artists. I was like 50/50 on the music until it started growing on me and I saw it for what it really was, after that I became a Juggalo and started messing around with music production when I was about 15. Shortly after that I started ‘Genocide Entertainment’ which has been a journey with plenty of ups and downs built around establishing our West Coast family.
FLH: Tell us a little bit about Genocide Entertainment.
Dirty Grim: Genocide Entertainment is my personal life’s work and contribution to the culture. Rest in peace to the ninjas who are not here with us anymore like our homies Midnight, Ninja, Juggamama Barb, Lena (Cemetery Girl) and so many others. I have watched the community in this city grow and fade over the years and have always tried to keep the spirit of West Coast Wicked shit alive. We are the adults who were the kids that used to rep everyday. Over the years Genocide Entertainment has helped represent the unground culture and the people who push that culture authentically.

FLH: What can you tell us about your upcoming project “Creature”?
Dirty Grim: Creature is an concept album I started putting together a couple years ago. A lot of the music I make has this specific sound since I usually tailor records to the album and the sound to that project. These records kind of naturally came together and then I started building on the theme over the course of the ten tracks. There’s a lot of stuff on here people haven’t heard yet, and a few they have. I’m excited to start putting out a lot more stuff and building the catalogue.

FLH: What other projects do you currently have in the works?
Dirty Grim: Yeah… there’s a lot. We are currently half way through the next Genocide Entertainment album which is called ‘Worldwide Genocide’. I’m really happy with the way the records are sounding so far so I’m feeling confident it should be out within the next 6 months. We are also currently still working on GenocideTV which is visual content built from our catalogue of music tied with shows/interviews and animated projects. Still a lot of work to do on that, animation takes forever, but we have stuff in the works.
FLH: Anything else you wanna say? Any shoutouts?
Dirty Grim: Shoutout to Faygoluvers.net for fucking with me. I used to get my news off this site as a kid haha. Go bump Resident Evil, new single out now. Much love and whoop whoop.
So there you have it juggalos. From the West Coast wicked shit movement to the world, Dirty Grim has proven his dedication to the underground music scene. Through his independent label, Genocide Entertainment, he continues to honor the roots of the culture while forging ahead with new projects. With the “Creature” album dropping and “Worldwide Genocide” on the horizon, it’s clear that Dirty Grim’s mission to hold it down for the West Coast is far from over. His story is a testament to perseverance, authenticity, and the undying spirit of the family at heart. Till next time, always keep it wicked fresh.
