There are a number of questions that are asked in just about every Ask Me Anything (AMA) session that takes place on Reddit. One of them is about the preference for taking on 100 duck-sized horses (or just one horse-sized duck). The other? What’s your idea of a perfect sandwich?

The Perfect Sandwich is our weekly feature that pairs scientists, celebrities, politicians, and other icons with this universal question. This week brings us Detroit-based hip-hop duo Twiztid. One-half of that duo, Jamie Madrox, is here to present Twiztid’s most perfect sandwich—step-by-step.

“When one attempts to create ‘The Greatest Sandwich In The World,’ it takes a lot of trial and error and many times around the kitchen before you perfect it correctly.

“When we were first asked to do this I immediately thought of the sandwich that Monoxide and I used to make way back in the days.

“Could that be ‘The Greatest Twiztid Sandwich In The World’? And I say with a firm ‘Hell yes!’ that it is.

“And here is what you need to do to make it yourself… are you ready? You will need a microwave and a toaster, as well as a plate, knife, paper towel, Wonder Bread d’italiano, hard salami, Muenster cheese, and Kroger brand Creamy Italian salad dressing.

“OK, Step 1: Take a few sheets of paper towels and line the inside of the microwave and place the desired amount of Hard Salami on it and microwave it until it’s crispy like bacon.

“Step 2: While your hard salami is cooking and getting crispy, take 2 slices of Wonder Bread d’italiano and pop ’em in the toaster and start them getting all toasty.

“Step 3: By now your hard salami should be crispy and sizzling so use some more paper towel to dap off the excess greases… we don’t want a soggy sandwich over here!

“Step 4: Take the 2 slices of freshly toasted Wonder Bread d’italiano and place them on the plate and arrange your crispy Hard Salami on one of the slices.

“Step 5: Get your Muenster cheese and an extra plate (it’s best to use a small microwavable bowl for this part). Place at least a minimum of 3 slices of Muenster cheese in the bowl or plate and microwave ’til melty.

“Step 6: Pour the melted Muenster cheese over the crispy dry hard salami. (Be very careful the cheese will be lava hot!!!!)

“Step 7: Shake well and add the Kroger brand Creamy Italian dressing to taste (a couple squirts is usually enough) atop the mound of cheesy Salami awesomeness. Top with the other piece of bread cut in half, and add your favorite chips as a garnish and serve.

“Well, there you have it, a master piece? Yes! Delicious? Again yes! ‘The Greatest Twiztid Sandwich In The World’? We like to think so!
