Fury - "Taking Lives featuring King Gordy and Bizarre"

JUGGALOS! JUGGALETTES! MENTAL PATIENTS THAT HAVE ESCAPED FROM THE STAFF! It’s your boy BeZerk, and I’m back I guess you could say with the same Underground Spotlight. Now before you flip your shit thinking “Didn’t that lazy fuck just do one on Fury. Fucking ball rider,” know that last Friday when this originally aired, we here at Faygoluvers had some technical difficulties in which resulted in losing pretty much everything for that day. So without further ado, I bring you Fury… again.

Well juggalos, when I first got into working in the underground shit, I heard of Fury through a few other artists (which ones, I do not recall, that was years ago lol). If I may say juggalos, he definitely sticks to his name bringing ferocious flows to whip kick you in your ugly ass face. Fury has also had quite a career since going solo in 2005, but starting in 2001.

So what has Fury been able to do in his time in the underground? How about open at the Gathering, for ICP, Twiztid, KMK, D12, and the vast majority of the big shots in the juggalo world. He’s also been able to work with Tunnel Runner and horrorcore legend Q Strange. In his up and coming music video, he has late WWE Legend Paul Bearer (who is a dude I thought was cool back in the day along with Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, etc). After working a decade in the industry, Fury became the full time manager of D12 member Bizarre. Together they make the Weirdo Movement. Even though I missed the Gathering this year, hopefully you didn’t, and you were able to check Fury at the Gathering.

Well juggalos, time for me to go tend to my new tarantula. I might start doing a little side segment on here to keep your nutty asses entertained, but don’t get your hopes up too much juggalos lol. I hope you check this shit, because I know you’ll like it. I got a few other UGS lined up, so until next time… enjoy.

BeZerk: Why did you choose to use the name Fury?

Fury: I’ve always been Furious.

BeZerk: What is your favorite Faygo flavor?

Fury: My absolute most favorite flavor of faygo is Blue Moon Mist… but its gotta be ice cold and I’ve got to be in Detroit to enjoy it… I’m not much of a soda drinker but I’m down to throw faygo all over the place at the drop of a hat.

BeZerk: How long have you been doing music for?

Fury: I’ve been doing music my whole life. I come from a family of musicians so its been drilled into my head since birth. Whether I was playing drums, singing in chorus, playing piano, or rapping I’ve always been a student of music. I’ve been rapping since 2001 and performing live shows since 2002. I started off in the group Kapital Punishment with my Homie Ether but I embarked on a solo career in 2005 and this has been my main focus ever since.

BeZerk: You’ve been able to work close with D12 member Bizarre. How did that come about?

Fury: I met Bizarre in 2009 at a show in Virginia Beach, Va and I got him on a track for my album, a few months later we went on tour with D12 in the US then in 2010 we went on tour with them in Canada. After a solid year of always working together Bizarre and I started an album called “Something Awful”. In 2011 I became Bizarre’s full time manager and we started The Weirdo Movement.

BeZerk: You’ve been able to work with others as well. Who else have you been able to work with?

Fury: I’ve always been bumping elbows with the people who influence me. I figured that if I wanted to get out there and make a name for myself then I needed to be training with the people who have already accomplished the things I want out of life. In my early days I was tagging along with Dr.Gigglez, Q strange, and Wolfpac. They really molded me into something above the rest of the scene and taught me the ropes. Those guys are responsible for teaching me how to get my foot in the door. During these times I was playing shows locally with the likes of Twiztid, KMK, Blaze, and ABK whenever they had a tour stop through. When I was working on my solo album “Plan B” in 2005 I made several trips to Detroit MI area and made connections with King Gordy, Marc Kempf of Long range Dist, Prozak, and much more. Upon finishing my album I decided that I wasn’t going to put this album out until I had Bizzy Bone on at least one song so we headed out to Cleveland Ohio and hunted down people who knew people who knew people who knew people who knew Bizzy Bone. Then I met the group Psych Ward out of Cleveland who were the talent buyers for the venue Peabody’s and they had just booked Bizzy Bone on a show. Psych Ward knew we were homes with Wolfpac so they put me on the show and that’s how I met Bizzy Bone and got him on the song “Ready For Warfare”. Shortly after all this I was opening shows for acts like Insane Clown Posse and Tech N9ne in CT on a regular basis. I did songs with  D12, King Gordy, Bedlam, Big Left, Cognito, Brotha Lynch Hung, Spice 1, Krayzie Bone, Sean Strange, Twisted Insane, Weerd Science, and so many more I can’t even remember. I got the opportunity to work with WWE legend Paul Bearer before he passed away for a music video that’s going to come out soon.

BeZerk: Who would you like to work with in the future?

Fury: I really want to do a song with Ringo Starr, that’s my top choice. For hip hop I’d really wanna rap with Lil Eazy E, MGK, and ICP.

BeZerk: You have all sorts of music videos. Do you got any new ones dropping?

Fury: I got the new video for Eat Hatred coming soon staring Paul Bearer and that’s my main focus right now video wise. I’ve got a few more ideas in the mix but I’m waiting for my touring schedule to ease up so I can put some real work into the creative aspect of what I do.

BeZerk: What else do you have in the works? Any CDs,  mixtapes, merch, or anything else fresh set to drop?

Fury: I’m working on some tours with Bizarre right now for late summer/fall. I’m playing GOTJ on 8/10 at 1:45pm somewhere Lol. I’m going to be heading to Canada with Twiztid in September. My album “Something Awful” with Bizarre is coming out in august/sept and I’m working on some songs right now for my solo album.

BeZerk: What do you think makes you unique from other artists?

Fury: I am the Vince McMahon of hip hop and they are not.

BeZerk: When and where are you’re next few shows? (Be sure to include show, date, venue, city, time, ticket price (if known), and where to get tickets (if known).)

Fury:  August 10th @ GOTJ

Sept: Twiztid Abominationz Canada Tour
