Playboy the Beast

Playboy The Beast ft. Hurricane, KD the Stranger - "Adrenaline Rush" Playboy the Beast ft. Trips - "Bath Salts Cipher" Playboy the Beast ft. Phat Boi - "Nasty Mind (remix)" Playboy the Beast - "The Jokerr Diss"

Juggalos…. juggalettes. Freaky ass ninjas that fuck at night. It’s your boy BeZerk, and I’m kind of finally back from a rest. And boy, do I have something for you that will make you burn a church.

Coming from the cornfields of hell below my homestate, Playboy the Beast comes with some of the most wicked lyrical talent out of Iowa (or at least in my oppinion). Playboy is a known Satanist, so if that’s your thing, then Playboy definitely is for you.

Now you don’t need to be a sanatist to enjoy Playboy’s raps. He’s also got a style all his own and can be one helluva midwest chopper (an official for of rap now). I first heard of Playboy when he was signed to SicFux, but was majorily impressed by his independent stuff on and off SicFux (ok, I’ll admit it, I’m a little SicFux bias… just a little…. SF4L)

So juggalos, I got to go recover from the night before. Some got concerned after a recent kalonopin OD (25mgs of kalono at one time will make you forget the day and fuck your shit up), so for those concerned, I am ok, alive, and very much kicking, and sure as fuck living for the underground. Right before my bad trip, I broke my laptop again, so I will be off Faygoluvers until I get a new computer (which fortunately I picked up another job as a telemarketer [I may call you one day]). So, don’t think I fell off the Earth if you don’t see any UGS’s for a while or see some from someone else. Thanks to those who gave me kind words of support, fuck you if you didn’t like me or my actions while under the influence of more drugs than Charlie Sheen could handle. Until next time juggalos…. Enjoy

Artist: Playboy the Beast

From: Mason City, Iowa

Rolls With: (record label or association. optional)

BeZerk: How did you come up with the name Playboy the Beast?

Playboy: Well, kind of a long story there. But basically, It was given to me. When I was young (around the age 12) I became a member of the Maniac 4 Corner Hustlers which is a branch of the Vice Lord Nation. And, one of our symbols was the playboy bunny. And, I used to fuck alotta bitches back in the day too so I guess that’s another reason all the homies started callin me that LOL. And the beast, I adapted that a few years ago because that is what I feel really represent’s me. 666…, That’s the mark of the BEAST \m/

BeZerk: Who do you consider as an inspiration?

Playboy: My kids inspire me to keep pursuing music instead of going back to my old ways, other than that, I inspire myself, and my past…, alot of my music is inspired by anger, hate, pain, etc.

BeZerk: What flavor of Faygo is your favorite?

Playboy: Red Pop…., and Jager…, mmmmmmm

BeZerk: How long have you been doing music for?

Playboy: Have been rapping since about age 12 off and on, in and out of lock up and prison. However, have only been recording and pursuing it as a “career” for about a year and a half now since I finally got my own studio set up.

BeZerk: What do you think makes you unique from other artists?

Playboy: Pretty much everything about me. Versatility mostly tho. I do it all, from chopper tracks, to lyrical, horrorcore, deep tracks, gangster shit, rock, pretty much everything besides that soft shit. And all while always keeping it real. Alot of the lyrical guy’s can’t chop very well, alot of the choppers tend not to be very lyrical or very good at using metaphors, punchlines, word play and different delivery styles other than chopping. I think being well rounded in all areas is one of my strengths

BeZerk: You were signed to the SicFux for a little while, but now you are back on your own independent venture. What do you have in store for the future of your musical career?

Playboy: well, after the omen drops.., (pre order’s now available) I’ll be finishing up a few collabs that I owe out. Then, will really start focusing on putting out my 1st major album, followed by a small tour. Have shirt’s and other merch being designed as well that will be added to my online store soon. Plan to drop a couple music videos, and step up the quality of what I have put out in the past video wise. Now that I am starting to be seen by more people and becoming more established, I really have to step my game up and take shit to the next level to keep expanding, and be taken seriously.

BeZerk: You are about to drop an album soon called The Omen, which is set to release on 7-21-12 if not sooner. What can the juggalos expect from this album?

Playboy: A wide variety, and show case of my styles/versatility. By far some of my dopest flows to be heard yet. Alotta people seem to be feeling my chopper flows, so we have a few chopper tracks. There is a couple more meaningful and deep tracks, and.., my personal favorite the good old fashioned hard core shit that’ll make you wanna’ fuck somebody up. And there is some shit on there that will just make you laugh and think, wow what the fuck is wrong with this guy. And, as a bonus track I threw the Jokerr Diss on there seeing as alotta the homies seemed to be feelin’ it.

BeZerk: Who have you been able to collaborate with?

Playboy: Basick, stitch mouth, Izzy dunfore, cryptic wisdom, kamikazi, Nu depths, Mr liqz, big shot, Omega Mythologist, Icy Blu, Chuck Tease, Statik, Ruka Puff and the black 300, Phat Boi, Oz, Inhuman, saw chosiz, kd the stranger, sicktanic soon, etc.

BeZerk: Who would you like to collab with in the future?

Playboy: Jared from Hed PE, Twisted Insane, Madd Child, Vinnie Paz, Tech, Brotha Lynch, King Gordy

BeZerk: Who have you been able to share the stage with?

Playboy: Ruka Puff, Stevie Stone from strange, Twisted Insane, Bone Crusher, The Sicfux homie’s, etc.

BeZerk: Well you have a huge show going on at the Rose Bowl on the same day your mixtape drops. What other shows do you have coming up?

Playboy: I’m not really doing a whole lot of shows at the moment besides the local shows that I put together. I really don’t like doing shows that much, so until people are willing to pay what I need to make it worth the trip I’ll probably just continue to do midwest shows every couple months. But, we are bringing Twisted Insane to Mason City, IA for the 2nd annual Monster’s Of The Mic Halloween show Oct 27th. still workin them details out tho.

Shout outs:

Playboy: The fans, and everybody who has shown me support. New fans, old fans, just all the riders that are truly down 4 the cause. Shout out to all the underground homies who are keepin real hip hop alive. All the artist’s and label’s that I fuck wit. Juggalo’s and lette’s, sicfux and sicchix. My homie Basick, Bobby Sick and Blood shed records, Sikcyde, Dire ent., SKR homies stitch and sick, C.U.C., just everybody who truly supports the hardcore underground shit.
