In our last interview, Durty was promoting his album Welcome to Granville which dropped, and I got to check it, and was off the hook. This time around, Dux is dropping Alcatraz: Banned from Society featuring all sorts of great underground artists like GrewSum, Maniac the Siouxpernatural, Stir Crazy (on beats), and way more. So be sure to check that when it drops juggalos. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
This year F. Dux has been to Florida, North Carolina, Michigan, Chicago, South Dakota, and could quite possibly come back to Minnesota soon. If you’d like to book F. Dux in your city, hit up [email protected] .
Well juggalos, I got to go run to the store. I hope you enjoy this reinterview with all new music from Durty Dux. Download it and peep the interview and see what Durty’s up to these day. Well juggalos, I’m out. Enjoy….

Artist: F. Dux
From: Charlotte, North Carolina
Rolls With: Low Life Entertainment, Daywalkers
BeZerk: Durty, we’re going to start this off with a few of the same questions just to get the juggalos who missed your first interview a little heads up on who you kind of are. First off, how did you come up with the name F. Dux and how long have you been doing music for?
F. Dux: The name came from the movie Bloodsport..one of my favorites.I went by Frank Dux for a while, until my music homies and their families started introducing me to people as “Frank”..Not Dux, which sucked ass so I shortened it to F. Dux.
BeZerk: Who are some of your inspirations?
BeZerk: What’s your favorite flavor of Faygo?
F. Dux: My favorite flavor is Rock & Rye
BeZerk: Well, it was quite a while since our last interview, and I know for a fact you’ve been up to A LOT since our last interview, including a performance at The Gathering of the Juggalos. April of last year you came up to my home state Minnesota to open for Hopsin and the SicFux as well as did two other shows in the Midwest that same week. Tell the juggalos a little about what all happened 2011.
F. Dux: Fuck yeah man, The gathering was crazy my boy was arrested the first day. 3 hours later him and I both we’re on stage with MC Hammer…haha…crazy shit! Kicked it with a lot of cool FAM.
BeZerk: You performed at the Gathering as you do most years. I missed this year, but the home boy The Scrubb kicked it with you, Rocking Rev Ricky, B_EaTS, and Evile. Tell the juggalos about your Gathering experience last year.
F. Dux: The Gathering was dope as always. The weather was perfect, tons of naked bitches everywhere and got to kick it wit some good peeps….ClaAs, Scrubb, Big Ian, Dayton Family, R.O.C, Flagrant,Smoke House Junkiez, Mars,Psycho Jesus, Lil Wyte, Tre Pound, Hopsin, SwizZz and the list goes on.
BeZerk: You also dropped Welcome to Granville. You have an album coming out called Alcatraz: Banned from Society. What can the juggalos expect from this album?
F. Dux: They can expect to hear some of my best work yet. It’s mostly straight wicked shit with a twist of eerie, vintage sounding hip hop beats! Thanks to my homey Maniac The Siouxpernatural, a fuckin beast on the beats, bringing a very demented, sick style of sounds. With songs like “Ghost Paper,” “Michelle,” “Never Run Away,” “La La La,” and “Backwoods.”
BeZerk: You got a chance to be a part of GrewSum’s label Prone Crew for a little bit. Who else did you get to work with in the past year?
F. Dux: It was short lived but dope. GrewSum’s a good dude, and one of the best MC’s I know. Just happen to come in last minute.

Name some of the places you’ve been at and the shows you did and some of the experiences you had on the road.
F. Dux: Other than Charlotte..I gotta say Twin City,MN..for real! One of the best experiences of my life.. I think Ricky and B would say the same thing. The fans were fuckin awesome, and Jimmy Donn and all the SICFUX showed us Low Lifes nothing but love. So did you BeZerk..you filmed me taking a shit at the venue!haha!
BeZerk: Other than Alcatraz: Banned from Society, what other stuff do you have coming out? Any mixtapes, merch, music videos, etc coming out?
F. Dux: I got new T’s, Low Life charms coming soon, a short film called “My Michelle”…which by the way is wicked as fuck! Plus got a cool collab with a Strange Music artist, thanks to my homey PimpMetal!
