Sacrafise

What’s up juggalos and juggalettes and underground fresh funk lovers. It’s BeZerk here bringing you another edition of the Underground Spotlight. This time I bring you some one who really ain’t new to the game. He goes by the name of Sacrafise.

Sacrafise has his own style that is some good shit. As well as working with Riga-J, Sacrafise has worked with FLH’s homie T.O.N.E-z, and he should have a track with Ereez on his album that he is currently working on. There should be one more special guest on that album, but that’s still on the DL, so you’ll just have to wait and see. But I can assure you (because I know who it is), it will be someone who is multi-talented and very well liked by the juggalo community. Without further ado, here is Sacrafise for your viewing pleasure…

Interview for: Sacrafise
Members: Robbie Polkey
From: Milfay, OK
Rolls With: OUTofSPITE Records

Faygoluvers: First off, why do you rap?

Sacrafise: The reason I started rappin’ and decided to pick up the mic was all thanks to my homie neRty. Also I needed a stress reliever, and found that music was the best way to channel my anger and emotions.

Faygoluvers: You used to go by the name WiCkEd RoB, but now you go by the name Sacrafise. Why?

Sacrafise: Well I was chillin, talkin’ on the phone with my homie Riga J about an up comin’ project, we were workin on, and I brought up the fact I wanted a name that stood out and had meaning behind it… Riga J was the one who actually dubbed me Sacrafise, and when I got to thinking about it, I realized that name fit me PERFECTLY, because I have lost lots of family, friends, girlfriends, etc. (due to my dedication towards my music).

Faygoluvers: Who are some of your inspirations?

Sacrafise: Well, to start off with I would have to say Wingnut was my biggest insperation by far, but to name just a few off the top of my nugget, I would also like to recognize Monoxide Child, Rage Against The Machine, Tech N9ne (and everyone at Strange), Atmosphere, 2Pac, Crucial Conflict, Bone Thugs, Ice Cube, but my main insperation that will always keep me pushin is the people that take the time, and actually LISTEN to what I have to say. I’m not necessarly sayin’ fans only I am reffering to everyone that has listened to my music and realized something more than a dope beat.

Faygoluvers: What is your favorite Faygo flavor?

Sacrafise: Rock-N-Rye

Faygoluvers: You’ve worked with a grip of people. So, who have you worked with?

Sacrafise: WOW! Let’s see where to begin. I’ve worked with artist like Nerty, Hades, Riga J, Filth-E, Cray-Z, Yung J, D-Crisis, T.O.N.E-z, and Sicc~Writt~Itt & F.A.D.E. Ent.

Faygoluvers: Who have you opened for?

Sacrafise: Well when you base your career off mostly collabs like I have done in the past (not to mention a lot of them being internet collabs), you really don’t get the chance to rock shows…. So, I would have to truthfully say, no one LOL!

Faygoluvers: Who would you like to work with in the future?

Sacrafise: I would love to work with Hopsin, Ereez, DZK, Tech N9ne, Krayzie Bone, Ice Cube. Hell I could go on for days, but those are my top artist.

Faygoluvers: What makes you unique from the rest?

Sacrafise: I would have to say that I don’t do only one genre of music. I am very diverse and belive music should not be full of lies, talkin about how you killed this person or raped this chick, when in all reality, you are the biggest pussy in the world!! Music is about speaking from your heart, and keepin it 100% real with who ypu are, and not makin’ yourself out to be something you’re truely not.

Faygoluvers: What do you have coming up? Any albums, mixtapes, music videos, or merchandise coming out?

Sacrafise: Spring 2011, keep your eyes peeled for my first solo CD (Hataz Make Me Famous). I guarantee this CD will be full of my deep darkest thoughts, and there will be NO holding back anymore. Anyone who has pissed me off, broke my heart, or let me down in any way, will be talked about on this album.

Faygoluvers: Do you have any shows coming up?

Sacrafise: Nope. I recently just made a huge change in my life, and moved to Oklahoma from Chicago. So, I’m gonna lay low on shows, and focus on gettin’ this solo CD done before I start doing shows again.

Faygoluvers: Shout outs?

Sacrafise: neRty, Drizz, my boys over at Homicide, Hades, Filth-E, Hollowtip, my homie Luke, and everyone that takes the time to listen.. I appreciate each EVERY single one of you, and thank you for your time.
