Sup Juggalos and Juggalettes and freak killas of the night!!! Now if you haven’t been living under a rock for the past couple years, you would have heard of a little album known as Tunnel Runners. Now this album burst some underground cherries for those who never went farther below the label that runs under the streets. I, myself, had just been getting into underground stuff, and when this album dropped, holy shit was it on fire!

I used YouTube to listen to the album, because well, I’m a broke ass scrub, and have been for quite sometime. Now the problem with doing that is, you don’t always get to listen to the whole album if you just keep clicking on the suggested videos. I must admit, I missed F. Dux’s track completely. I didn’t even know what I missed until I was hit up by his manager for an interview. They sent over the track, and I was like, let’s do this shit lol.

So not only do you get to know F. Dux, but so do I. After listening to some of his work, I can easily say that for sure, I am a fan. There is a reason why he was on Tunnel Runners. If you listen to his shit, you’ll see why. So without further ado, here is the wicked motherfucker himself, F. Dux…

Faygoluvers: Why do you rap?

F. Dux: I rap to relieve stress and frustration with day to day life.I rap because I love hip-hop, and the culture that surrounds it. It’s a dope feeling to be able to have someone tell you theyve gone thru the same shit I have and got past it..also being able to tell stories and make people think about what your rappin about, wheter fantasy or reality!..Plus, whats better than thousands of fans screaming your name when your on stage!?!?

Faygoluvers: How did you come up with the name F. Dux?

F. Dux: I got the name F. Dux from the movie Blood Sport with Jean Claude Van Dam. His name was Frank Dux, and he was a soldier who wanted to fight for what he really wanted to do, which was fight and kick the shit outta dudes. Which related to me a lot when it came to music…fight for the top, ya know?!? I switched the name from “Frank Dux” to F. Dux, because at shows fans, MC’s, promoters all called me Frank..which got annoying, so I just shortened that shit.

Faygoluvers: What is your favorite Faygo flavor?

F. Dux: Most definetly gotta be Rock & Rye….and the Cola second.

Faygoluvers: So you were the second track on Tunnel Runners. What have you been doing since then?

F. Dux: Yes sir..that album was and still is the shit. I’ve been doin nothin’, but grinding trying to spread the word and move these cds, and of course rockin’ out at shows with folks like Boondox, ABK, Project Born, Critical Bill, and Twiztid at The Monster’s Ball.

Faygoluvers: Do you got a CD or mixtape coming out anytime soon?

F. Dux: Hell yeah man, I’m droppin my new solo project next month. It’s called “Welcome to Granville”. It’s a 13 track LP with nothin but bangers and crazy beats!

Faygoluvers: Have you worked or will you be working with any of the other Tunnel Runners or others in the near future?

F. Dux: I got a track with Claas on his solo album, J Reno on the next Dalywalkers project..I am also working with Kidcrusher right now..we did a song called “Murder” which is on his and my album. DOPE SHIT!

Faygoluvers: How did you and your DJ (B_EaTS) meet up?

F. Dux: I met B through a friend of his, who was working at Best Buy, and said he was a fan of mine for a few years. I sold him a couple tickets to my next show, and B and his boy Kevin showed up. B started hustlin real hard for me, and I asked him to DJ for me at an upcoming show, and it’s been crazy since!

Faygoluvers: In your words, how do you think you’re different than the rest?

F. Dux: I don’t change for anyone. Imma do me ’til I die..I’ve been rappin’ the same way, with my own style for the last 15 years, and folks are finally catchin’ on to the movement! I don’t think I’m the best rapper alive, or the best punchline rapper, or MC..but I do know that if you come to an F.Dux show, you witness magic and be blown the fuck away!!!!!!!!! Whether I’m swinging my axe on stage, jumpin’ in the crowd, or lettin’ the fans scream the lyrics in the mic so the whole fuckin venue can hear it!

Faygoluvers: Other than your track, which track(s) did you like on Tunnel Runners?

F. Dux: I loved them all, but the ones that stuck out the most were J Reno, Kidcrusher, Claas, and Psycho Jesus..everyone had ill tracks though.
