Being a lyricist is by far the biggest requirement for Strange Music, and that’s exactly what Murs is. According to Tech N9ne, Murs album, Have a Nice Life, is “humungous and super lyrical.”

Murs couldn’t agree more while listening to “Wither” and “Hood Go Crazy” off Tech’s Special Effects album. Murs was also in the studio when Eminem‘s verse for “Speedom (WWC2)” came through. “Everything stopped. Turn off all your phones, lock the door and shut up,” Murs explains.

While working with Eminem was amazing, Tech was thrilled to work with Slipknot‘s lead singer, Corey Taylor, on “Wither.” “He’s a genius, and it’s one of my favorite tracks on the album,” says Tech.
