Brad “Daddy” X files trademark for new label: “United Family Trust”

We found out some pretty interesting news that I think all of you underground music fans will want to know.  Now it’s probably no surprise that Daddy X and the Kottonmouth Kings are starting up their own label.  If you look at the latest flyer for the Free the Kings Tour, you’ll see a new logo on the bottom right, which I blew up and made into the thumbnail for this post. It looks like the new label will be called United Family Music.  You can see that flyer here:

So here’s the more interesting part.  The trademark for “United Family Trust” was filed by Brad Xavier back on December 22nd, 2012. You can see that proof via TradeMarkia.com (right here)!  Strangely enough, the beef between the Kottonmouth Kings and Sub Noize / Kevin Zinger didn’t go public until around March 2013.  So while things may have been under turmoil out of the public’s site, it looks like Daddy X may have been making plans for a new venture quite a bit longer than we have known.

So, will the label United Family Music be a force in the underground in the near future?  What groups will they sign?  We’ll keep you posted as all of that info becomes available!

Well you know on the new UFM label KMK will be signed, but I could also see Twiztid get signed. Hope this works for Daddy X & The Kings.
