Sup fam. I'm writing this article for cracked and I want some suggestions. What should I add what should I take out. 

5 Things you didn't know about Juggalos

     Lately, The Insane Clown Posse (ICP) and Juggalos have been reviving A LOT news coverage.  Mostly in a negative light. Everything  from ICP suing the FBI to idiots in Juggalo t-shirts murdering people. I'm here to clear up some misconceptions about Juggalos.

5. ICP isn't the only type of Juggalo music

    What's the first thing that comes to mind when someone says Juggalo (besides "hurr durr idiot")? Insane Clown Posse and vice versa. But what a plethora of people don't know is that a Juggalo isn't just a fan of ICP, it's way more than that. You don't even have to like ICP to be a Juggalo. There are thousands of of artists who are Juggalos and make Juggalo music. Here's just a small list: Twiztid, Blaze ya Dead homie, The Warlock, Hex Rated, Axe Murder Boyz, ABK, Boondox, (hed)P.E, Lil Sneezy, Tech N9ne, Chuklz, Kidcrusher, Aqualeo, Big HooDoo. And that's just scratching the very surface. I could fill 5 pages with just the names of artists. But most closed people think "ICP, case closed."

  Also not every one who listens to ICP and the above bands is a Juggalo. Many people dig ICP's music but think the face paint is stupid. A lot of others just don't wanna be labeled anything, which is just fine. I like a song or two from the Grateful Dead, but I'm far from a deadhead. For some people its about the music, but to most.....

4. It isn't just about the music

  See, being a Juggalo isn't just liking horror core (for the most part) it's about family love and acceptance of all people no matter their race, religion, color, gender or none of that shit. All the media covers is the negative aspect of Juggalos, not them raising money through canned food drives or helping out each other. Sure there's some ignorant, racist Juggalos out there but I bet you if you take 1000 of any group of people there's gonna be a few ignorant people.  Many times I've seen Juggalos helping each other out for no reason except family love. You can go to Faygoluvers.net right now and see the forums. There's a thread called "Help bring VD to the Gathering." It's a group of Juggalos raising money to bring a long time Juggalo to his first Gathering of the Juggalos. Most juggalos are willing to help out each other in a blink of an eye. Sure there are some assholes who just want to be called Juggalo just because. If you checked out that thread you'll see who I mean.

3. JUGGALOS ARE NOT A FUCKING GANG, DAMNIT!

  In 2011 the FBI labeled Juggalos "an unorganized, hybrid gang." At first nobody really gave a fuck, but then the problems started coming. See, a guy, lets say a doctor, got a hatchet man tattoo 15 years ago when he was younger and listened to ICP. He runs a red light and a cop pulls him over. The cop sees the tattoo and starts taking pictures of it and registering this man as a gang member, effectively putting his career at risk. Guess what? That scenario has happened many times.

Also just a little while ago Psychopathic Records was forced of their future Gathering of the Juggalos site, the Crybaby Campground in Kaiser, Missouri (the same campground that allowed biker gangs) after the campground was receiving hate mail and the citizens where arming themselves. A lot of hard working people lost money on plane tickets and such because of a few closed minded people. If you think that's fair then read the 1st amendment of the constitution, boy.  Psychopathic Records lost a lot of money from that. *puts on heavy duty tin foil hat*  What I think is that the FBI and the government in general hates people who have unity. They see that as a threat to them and want to eliminate it anyway possible.

2. Not all Juggalos are white, meth addicts who live in trailers

  There's a common misconception that Juggalos are ALL white trailer trash (which is very illogical). Sure the majority of Juggalos that you see are white, but that doesn't mean they're white trash or anything like that. I've seen Mexican Juggalos, Black Juggalos, Australian Juggalos. Shit, I'm Arab/Puerto Rican and I'm a Juggalo! That just goes to show ya that not all stereotypes are true. Most of the other Juggalos I've met are hard working, blue collar Americans. I know Juggalos who are currently serving or are veterans. There are also famous Juggalos. Like Coolio (he's actually a "Jugalo"), Vanilla Ice,  and even fuckin Charlie Sheen. Uhhh, well that's not the best list ever but still.

 Also, I haven't met ONE Juggalo who does any hardcore drugs. Not one. I only do meth when I'm killing people in my trailer home. Of course there are always people who are the counter-example. I helped run a Juggalo Facebook page with 25,000 likes. I'm pretty sure a few of them are the stereotype. Oh and one more thing, Juggalos for the most part aren't rednecks. Refer to such ICP songs as "Fuck yo rebel flag" and " Chicken Huntin".

1. Juggalos aren't just Juggalos

  This may come as a surprise to some, but Juggalos like other things too. No, really! Take me for example, I'm a Juggalo but I'm also an Internet nerd, a anime fan, and many things. Shit, just because I'm a Juggalo doesn't mean I won't listen to Katy Perry once in a blue moon. A lot of people think it's so black and white, like "you're a Juggalo and nothing else." Juggalos are people who have certain tastes and beliefs, but that doesn't mean that that's all they know or believe. My good friend is a Juggalo and loves to read and has interests in literature. Juggalos don't just sit at home all day watching music videos and leaving badly spelled comments on YouTube videos, our interests go beyond Faygo and hatchet warfare.

  Basically what I'm trying to say in this article is Juggalos are like Transformers: more than meets the eye. We have this terrible image that we can't seem to shake because  of a few idiots who don't know how to act. We're a weird group of people who spray cheap soda and paint our faces but we're also a family. A family who are willing to go to great lengths to help each other. I hope I wasn't to preachy in this shit.
