Can hardly wait for Seed of Leatherface. Bet it gets its own cereal deal with marshmallow chainsaws.

As far a remakes, prequels, whatever...I thought the 2003 Texas Chainsaw was pretty solid. The one from 2013 however, possibly one of the worst things I've seen, and I've seen some bad shit. Only semi-positive thing I can give it is Alexandra Daddario is a babe.

Far as horror as a whole I really do think that as far as the indies are concerned, these last few years, it's looking up. The Babadook, It Follows, Spring, Resolution, Starry Eyes, Tucker & Dale vs Evil, House of the Devil..probably more that I'm blanking on but they've all been pretty solid.

I know leatherface is a horror icon and all, but the texas chainsaw movies just arent that great to me. The one from the 1970s was great. Everything that came after that sucked imo.

I thought the remake was ok as far as remakes go....god I hated the 2013 movie...so bad. but that chick is hot as fuck.

agree with the indies. ..all those listed are good films.  indie and foreign is the way to go it seems like these days...it was cool that it follows got picked up and put in theaters...hopefully more will follow that trend.

im really looking forward to ash vs evil dead on starz this fall...cant wait for that shit. Sucks i dont have starz but ill find it on the net and definitely will buy the blu ray when its released...

also james wan is remaking the entity from the 80's...movie still holds up to this day so hopefully they can do that movie justice.

There's a couple ideas there that remind me of other movies but that still looks decent as fuck. At least, it looks like it could be cool. Also, was that Corey Taylor? I thought I saw him and it definitely sounded like him screaming "I tried to leave!".

What i did like about it would be a shorter list. The idea of it is good. Just poor execution. There was way too much talking, not enough scares. It's obvious someone caught an STD and had brilliant idea to use it as a metaphor for a monster that follows you wherever you go. (Kind of like the stigma of having an STD. How fucking brilliant indeed.)

It just didn't do anything for me.

yes that was corey taylor in his acting debut in a movie. I turned it off after a bit.....couldn't get through it...I dont get why people think it follow sucks....(your opinion and your entitled to it) but it is a refreshing and great film...the cinematography was wonderful reminded me of Haddonfield in Halloween....good acting, music is great. Love that movie. I think people dont really know what a good film is when they see one these days.....oh well.

It Follows, a good film? Hardly. Works great as a sleep aid though.

Fair enough. I loved it, so was just curious what some reasons one didn't like it would have. To each their own and yadda yadda.

It Follows soundtrack was fantastic. Worked even better in theater.

movies and music is subjective...what one person thinks is good others thinks sucks....but popular opinion and site like rotten tomatoes says it follows is a great film and many horror fans really like it...soooooo....whatever...

I don't have a lot of faith, but I'll watch Cooties. Green Inferno and Knock Known I'm not sure, Haven't really enjoyed anything from Eli other than Cabin Fever.

I'll def. check out Tale of Halloween, I like anthologies a lot.

I have Goodnight Mommy, but I haven't watched it yet.
